•Chapter 6•

Title- Starbucks

Jackson's POV

Finally. The first week of college is done. It is Friday and all my classes are done. I was done because I only had reading and engineering class today. I decided to text Layla. We don't have any same time classes so I haven't seen her in a week.

Jackson - Hey Layla

Layla - Hey

Jackson - Are you in class right now?

Layla - Yeah, science class

Jackson - Oh ok I'll go so you don't get in trouble

Layla - OK TTYL bye!

I was sad. I didn't get to ask her if she wanted to hang out. I really wanted to see her. The real truth why I wanted to see her was because I had a crush on Layla.

The first day of the fourth year in high school I had a crush on her. I never told anyone scared of what mother would do to her and to me.

I feel bad for what our family did when I was six. Calum tried to stop it but he was only four years old. What could be of done. He told me it was wrong. But I never listened. I was an evil kid then all I wanted was revenge for a lie I was told .

It was because I was lied to. Now I regret doing what we did. I will never forgive myself. How will I ever tell Layla?

Stacy's POV

I was so annoyed. Layla took this week better than I of planned. "Ugh Lily!" I said. "Yeah?" Lily said. "The newbie girl took this week better than I planned," I said. "Yeah I know right!" Lily said.

"Oh I think I have a plan!" I said. I told her my plan and she agreed that this plan was going to knock her out for sure.

Layla's POV

Finally class was done! I decided to text Jackson back. I haven't seen him all week. I was going to ask him if he wanted to hang out.

Layla - Hey Jackson done with Friday classes

Jackson - Hey

Layla - I haven't seen you all week

Jackson - Yeah I miss you

Layla - Me too do you wanna hang out?

Jackson - Sure when?

Layla - Meet me at the Starbucks down the street bring a couple of your friends to

Jackson - Oh OK

Layla - OK see you there!

I was happy I decided to bring two of my closest friends, Rebecca and Ashley. I have been really good friends with them since we first met.

I would of invited Josh but I remembered that he is packing to go back to his family this weekend. It was a three day weekend so a lot of people went back to there loved ones.

I would of went, but all my loved ones are gone. That thought made my eyes water thinking that my parents are dead and I have no relatives. I wiped the tears off and texted Rebecca and Ashley in our group chat.

Layla - Hey guys

Rebecca- Hey

Ashley- Hey

Layla - You guys want to come with Jackson, some of his friends, and I to Starbucks?

Ashley- Sure!

Rebecca- Yeah!

Layla - Meet me at the front of the school!

Rebecca- OK

Ashley- Sure thing

I changed into high waisted, black jeans, a shear white blouse with gold studs on it, and a pair of black combat boots. I grabbed my wallet and ran out the door and to the front of the school.

Rebecca was already there and waiting. Behind me was Ashley. She was walking because she had heels on.

We walked across the street and went into Starbucks. The guys were already there and sitting at a table for 6.

The guys were laughing. We said hi and got in line. I got a Green Tea Frap and a sugar cookie with pink icing. Rebecca got a lattè and a chocolate chip cookie and Ashley got a hot chocolate with a brownie.

We sat down next to the guys. "Ok this is Rebecca and Ashley!" I said. They said hi and smiled. "This is Jacob and James," Jackson said. "Oh all J's!" Ashley said.

All the guys had Powerade. Jacob had a red one, James had a green one, and Jackson a blue one. We talked for a while. Then the door opened. It was Stacy Lily. They walked in side by side talking and laughing there heads off.

I turned around trying to make sure they didn't see me. I turned back and Ashley and James were flirting. Rebecca and Jacob were flirting too.

I looked at Jackson. He was smiling at them all flirting. I looked deep into his eyes. And stared at him for what felt like two minutes.

"Layla? Layla! Hello!?" Jackson called out. I was embarrassed. I guess I was just sitting there staring at him. They were all looking at me. I wondered do I have a crush on Jackson? I thought to myself no it can't be and let it slide.

Meanwhile

Stacy's POV

Me and Lily walked into Starbucks. "Yeah and the girl was like my name is Stacy M." Lily said. "Yeah and then I'm like I am Stacy Mayor so bye bye bitch!" I said. We laughed and entered Starbucks.

I saw this one girl look at me then swiftly turn back. I didn't see who it was so when I passed by i looked at her face.

"Oh. My. God. Lily look who it is," I whispered to Lily. "Oh it is the newbie!" Lily said. "This is perfect. Now we can find out some secrets about her!" I suggested.

"Perfect," Lily agreed. We got our cotton candy fraps and sat two table next to Layla. "Oh my gosh! Stacy! Look!" Lily said.

I looked. Layla was staring at Jackson for like two minutes without even blinking.

"Oh I think the little newbie likes that guy!" I said. "Looks like it!" Lily said. "Who is it?" I asked. "He was in my class today! Um um! Oh it is Jackson!" Lily answered.

"That would be a shame if Layla's crush fell for and dated here arch enemy!" I said while chuckling. "Yeah such a shame," Lily said. We grinned as they all walked out of Starbucks.
