---KAYLAS POV---
I wake up the next day. I was gonna take it easy because I had huge tournament the next day. I wake up and go see Aamber.
"Hey Aamber."
"Hey Kayla" she says
Her eyes were glued on her phone.
"Who are you texting?" I ask
"Oh...umm Harris" she says
"Oooohhhh get it" I say smirking
She throws a pillow at me.
"Oh shut up Kayla" she says
"Okay well I can't stay and argue cause I'm getting an ice bath." I say
"Oh okay." She says and goes back to her phone
I head to the bathroom and start some water making sure it's cold. I grab the ice and put it in. I take off my robe and slowly get in. Ooohhh it was so cold OMG. I slide the table across and put my phone and book on it and a drink. I sit there an relax for a little. I put some music on and just relax it was hard considering how cold it was. But I was really sore, and I need this for my quad. I get a text from Mady.
Mady- Can I come over?
Kayla- Yeah sure I'm just getting a ice bath now
Mady- okay. How much longer?
Kayla- about 10 minutes.
Mady- Okay I'll head over!
Kayla- Okay, See ya!
A little more time goes past and I get out of the bath. I clean up and put on some leggings and a sweatshirt. The door bell rings and I go answer. It's Mady!
"Come on in!" I say
We walk upstairs and go to my room.
"Can aamber be here too?" I ask
"Of course!" She says
I invite aamber over and she comes in.
"Okay. I have something to say." Mady says
"Spill!!" I say
"You know jake?"
"Yeah" I say
"Omg #jady!" Aamber says
"Well yeah HE ASKED ME OUT!!" Mady shouts
"OMG really!!" They start jumping on the bed
I was going to but I stopped myself.
"Kayla why aren't you jumping?" Mady ask and stops
"I can't. My leg. The tournament" I say
"Oh come on Kayla. Your young stop taking sports so serious." Mady says
"No. I enjoy sports and it's just my life. When I do bad I feel bad and everything is bad. So I take it serious I want to do good. I want to be the best. I want people too look up to me" I say
"Oh..sorry" Mady says
"Oh it's fine" I say smiling
"So what do you all want to do?" Aamber asks
"Let's bake some cookies and watch a movie!" I say
"Sounds good!" Mady says
We all head downstairs. We each pull out the ingredients and start cooking. We prepare everything and put them in the oven. We then go downstairs and just hang out a little but then we start talking drama.
"So Kayla..how is Jaden?" Mady asks smirking
"Uhh..good we are just friends." I say
"Yeah sure" she says smirking
So I tell her everything he said that night on the bus and all that and showed our texts.
"He so likes you" Mady says
"Yeah I agree! #jayla!" Aamber says laughing
"I hope so!" I say blushing
"But enough about me.. Aamber what about Harris?" I say smiling
"Ohh..yeah about him..I really like him" aamber says
"Who's that?" Asks Mady
I explain everything on how they met and the derby.
"OMG #hamber!!" Mady shouts
"I wish liked me back" aamber says
"I'm sure he does" I say
"In my dreams" aamber says
"Stop getting yourself down. I'll ask him at the tourney tmw" I say
"Okay fine. Don't mention me wanting to know though." Aamber says
"Guys the oven went off. Cookies are done!" Mady says
We all run up the stairs and get the cookies out.
"I'll go grab a movie" Mady says
"I'll get the blankets" says Aamber
"And I'll get the popcorn!" I say
I set the cookies too cool and put the popcorn in the microwave. I was gonna eat strawberries and blueberries but they wanted some popcorn. I give them each a cookie since they were cooled and some popcorn. Mady puts in the movie.
"What are we watching?" I ask
"Pitch Perfect!" She shouts
We all sit down.
"Kayla why you eating strawberries and blueberries?" Asks Mady laughing
"Gotta keep up the 6 pac" I say laughing
They both laugh.
"Lol SIKE just gotten use to eating healthy" I say
"Jaden liked your 6 PAC" says Mady
"Yeah he was staring at me when we got off the slide" I say blushing
We all laugh.
"Like Cole said you got Jaden so whipped" says aamber laughing
I start laughing too.
The movie starts and by the end we are all tired especially from laughing so hard.
We all clean up.
"Bye guys! Good luck at your tourney Kayla!" Mady says as she walks out
Aamber and I hang out for a little and play some board games until I get to bed for tomorrow.
