--KAYLAS POV---
We arrive at the buffet and I smelled cinnamon rolls! I love cinnamon rolls. I hurry up and grab like 3, cause they were mini. Then I grab, some scrambled eggs, some yogurt and bacon. I sit down with Aamber, Kenzie and Morgan. Since, the tables were four seated. We are enjoying our food and having a good convo, till that girl from that team comes over. The one from the first team we played.
"Look who it is?" She says to her friend next to her
"Oh maybe this girl will actually get s hit today" she says
I stand up.
"If you don't remember I'm the one who disgraced you in front of your family" I say
"You can't hit" she says
"I can hit better then you" I say
"We'll see championship game, even your team even makes it that far" she says smirking
"Don't worry about my team. Worry about yours." I say sitting down whipping my hair
Ugh that girl pissed me off. All I want to do is beat her. We get back to eating and start up a convo.
"Dang Kayla, Why are all these girls hating on you?" Aamber asks
Before I can answer.
"They know how good she is. They have scouting reports" Kenzie says
"Yeah. There goal is too break her so she falls apart. Then the rest of the team will. Allowing them for an easier win" Morgan says
"Well, I guess that's all" I say twirling my spoon
"Dang, Basketball isn't nothing like this." Aamber says
"It's more of a sport where in fouling people, here it can be words. Like before a basketball game people heckle you. To break you" I say
"Oh. I never thought of it that way" Aamber says
"The older you get, the more competitive sports become" says Morgan
"Tru dat sister" Kenzie says
"Preach" I say
We all break out laughing. Then realize it's time to head to the field. I see Jaden at his car.
"Hey Jaden!" I shout
"Hey Kayla!" He shouts
"Good luck at your game!" I say
"Thanks, you too!" He says
Then he loads into his car and so do I. I listen to some drake, well cause it's gets me hype. We arrive at the fields in 15 minutes. I grab my bag and head over to my team to warm up. We had a couple games today, depends on how far we make it. I have faith in my team we should make it to the championship. Since we were first seed, we only had to win two games to get into the championship. We end up winning the first game 15-12, the second game is soon after and we win that 17-10. We had a good 20 minute break so I go over to see how the boys are doing. They happen to have a break at the same time we so.
"Ay, how are you guys doing?" Kenzie asks
"We're going to the championship. What about you guys?" Cole asks
"We are also going to the championship!" Morgan shouts
"Awesome! So any dingers?" Jaden asks laughing
"Well, I hit two." I say laughing
"Of course ya did" Jaden says
"Kenzie also went yard" I say
"That's my girl" says
Braden putting his arm around her shoulder
"Well we have to go now. Gotta warm up a little" Morgan says
"Okay, Good luck!" Cole says as he hugs Morgan
OMG COLE HUGGED MORGAN??? WHAT THEY HAVE A THING?? OMG GOALS!!!!!! #CORGAN IS THIS WHO COLE LIKES?
"Thanks, you too!" Morgan says back
We head back to the field and throw a little. It's soon time for the game and since we were a higher seed we got to choose. Home! We all shout. It's usually how it is. I jog back to the dugout and grab my glove and shades. We all jog out to our positions and the game begins. I was suppose to close this game out so in the 6th inning I was pitching. Innings go by and we all do really well, but it was tough competition. We had to go into an International Tie Breaker. The boys game already ended so both of the teams came over and watched. I was put back at shortstop but that's fine by me. Riley goes back into pitch. I rob two kids at shortstop and make no errors. So far so well in the breaker, then we were hitting, I went yard and tripled as we went through our lineup twice. Then it ended! WE WON THE GAME! WE WERE GOING TO THE SERIES! Our team dogpiles, luckily I wasn't on the way bottom. They open the gates and family and friends all run in. Jaden runs over and picks me up, and spins me.
He puts me down in a little.
"Good Game Wifey!" He says
"Thank you!" I say hugging him
"Did you guys win?" I then ask
"Yeah!" He says
"omg yay! We are both going to the World Series!" I shout
"Im so excited" he says
"Me too" I say
He then walks back over and them and they talk about their win. A couple of girls go up to Jaden from other team. They talked about me after seeing what happened. Probs talking trash and asking for his number. That's when Zach comes over and congrats me along with Jack. I thank them and they go over with the boys. Then someone unfamiliar comes over.
"Hey Kayla" he says
"Oh hey, who are you?" I ask
"Oh im Ethan" he says
"Oh cool! How do you know my name?" I ask
"I've heard a lot about you, mostly scouting reports and how good you are" he says
"Oh really?" I ask smirking
"Yeah and from what I saw you are as good as they say maybe even better" he says smirking
I blush a little.
"Thanks!" I say smiling
"Any way, I could get your snapchat?" He asks
"Sure, it's knoelle07" I say

"Okay, I added you" he says
"Okay cool, See ya around?" I say
"Maybe, I live in Virgina." He says
"Oh" I say laughing
"See ya" he says
Then I head over with Kenzie to distract her and text Braden.
Kayla- Are you ready to ask out Kenzie?
Braden- 1 more minute.
Kayla- okay
1 minute later....
Braden- bring her over to the baseball field 1
Kayla- okay omw
I get Kenzie and ask her if she wants to pitch some on field 1.
We walk over and up the hill, we walk across the field and heard a huge sound, boom!
It was some confetti, as we turn and see them holding signs up.
