---KAYLAS POV---
"I feel like he doesn't like me..." Aamber say nervously
"No no what makes you think that why" I ask
"All the other girls he hangs out, they are all over him" aamber says looking out the window
It looked as if she was breaking. She might cry. And i wasn't good with dealing with anything sad.
"Talk to him about it...just when you do don't g too protective...ok?" I ask in a soft tone
"Uh uh Good idea... Thanks Kayla" she stutters
I decide to lighten the mood so I play some music out loud. She didn't always like my music because of how rap it was, but I knew one she liked. It was Legend by Drake.
I put it on as loud as possible and since the car was pretty quiet, you could hear it. It art singing and dancing out loud and she joins in. Finally, I cheered her up. We soon realize that we will be stopping in 15 minutes for a bathroom break and small snack at Wawa. I run into the place considering I have to pee. I'm about to enter the ebathroom when I run into someone.
"Sorry" says the kid reaching his hand out
"Ethan?" I say questioning it
"Yeah it's me. Hello Kayla" he says laughing
"What are you doing down here?" I ask awkwardly
"Well I live here..." He says
"Oh makes sense. Well I have to go see ya around" I say quickly and head into the bathroom. I do my business, wash my hands and head out. I grab a smoothie and some granola bars.
"Kayla, your always so healthy" aamber says with tons of candy in her hands
"Idk guess its a habit"'I say shrugging my shoulders
"Well your gonna have some of my candy. I got too much" aamber says laughing
"Well if you insist" I say laughing with her
We pay for it and head to the car. I look at my phone and I got a text from Ethan.
Ethan- Nice seeing you today! When do your games start?
Kayla- You too! They start Tuesday.
Ethan- okay thanks!
I wonder why he wanted to know that. Well guess I'll find out. The car ride was regular regular nothing special. Jaden and I snap chatted each other along like the whole ride. And his little brother Landon would snap me saying how much Jaden likes me and would send videos of Jaden talking about me. Away it was so cute. I fell for this kid, hard. I texted in the group chats I were in and snapchatted Mady and friends back home a lot. Eventually, we arrive at our beach house. It was right by the beach and let me just say it was gorgeous. We rented some beach house for our whole team and their families. But, since so many people we split into three houses, even though all were very big. This was payed for. JADENS team was in the same area just not the same house. I got to share a room with Aamber and it was pretty darn big. I unpack my stuff and settle in. It was pretty same old same old. But, we all planned on going out to eat together and the boardwalk. So Aamber and I decide to head down to the beach. We text up the squad. Many of the boys could come along with the girls. So, I get changed into my bikini and throw on some nike shorts, a softball tee with the sleeves cut off and some flip flops. Of course, knowing me being very pale, I put on tons of sun screen and brought a lot. We brought some boogie boards and things to do. Including volleyball and a wiffle ball set. And of course towels and chairs, sunglasses and all that. We were really close to the beach so we could walk. We head down to where we told everyone to meet us at. We were the first ones there so we set up our chairs and decide to see how cold the water is. I run in and barely make it in more than one inch. I turn and run back. Aamber didn't even run in, she already settled into her chair.
"Cold isn't it?" I hear Jaden say as he walks towards us
"Yes!" I shout well it was freezing
"Boogie Board with me?" He asks dropping everything.
"Of course!" I say laughing and then I take out my shirt and shorts. He stares at me for a little until I turn and pick up my board. He takes of his shirt and grabs his board. I hear clicks of a camera and turn to see more friends and Aamber taking photos. Oh Aamber I thought, Harris was sitting right next to her. I turn back to see Jaden already in the water.
"Come on" he says motioning me towards him
"I'm coming!" I shout running through the water
But, you know how running through water works. We catch a couple waves and start cracking up as we watch each other fall off the boards and end up under water. My fingers soon began to become wrinkly.
"It's getting cold. I'm gonna head to shore" I say
"I agree. I'll come with" he says as we catch one wave back
We dry off and decide to play some volleyball. We decide to play girls against boys and there was already a net set up.
"Kayla, if I win you have to kiss me!" Jaden shouts with the biggest smile
"And if I win, your taking me out somewhere while we are here" I say laughing
"Works for me, I was already planning on doing that" he says
"Well then either way I win" I say smirking
He laughs.
"Well as long as I'm with you I'm winning" he says blushing
"Guys, stop flirting let's play the game" says Cole
"Ight sorry bro" says Jaden
I just laugh and serve it. The girls end up winning. I walk over to Jaden. Everyone else heads overs grabs there bags.
"Guess your taking me out." I say whipping me hair
All of a sudden, he pulls me in. And kisses me. I felt sparks no joke. I was shocked he would kiss me but I kissed back. Then we broke away.
"Well I got that kiss either way." He says smirking
"You just kissed me because you wanted me to kiss you. I see how it is" I say raising a brow
"Don't blame a guy for liking a girl" he says laughing
"Hey I didn't blame you for anything." I say
"Hmm Well I enjoyed it" he says grabbing my hand as we walk to get our stuff.
"Me too" I say striking a smile
Sorry for like no update in Forever, but here ya go sorry it's a little rough. But, ik this chapter was low key just a filler but trust me stuff will be lit lol
