---KENZIES POV---
Braden asked me out and I can't believe it. I was so happy and shocked. He would like me? I've always liked him but he had Zoe....guess things change.
"Guys, its time to go now" Kayla says
"Yeah, we gotta head home and pack for the series!" Morgan says
"YAAASS so proud of all you!!" Aamber says
"Thanks!" We all say in Unison
We all head to our separate cars and drive back to the hotel to grab our stuff. Once we arrive at the hotel, we check out and pack up. We were just gonna grab Something quick on the way home considering it was already 8:30 and we had a two hour drive or so. We all text on the way home in a huge group chat.
Kayla- Wassssuppp Famm?
Kenzie- Driving Home
Morgan- same
Cole- same
Jaden- well I'm stopping at Sheetz rn.
Kayla- Same😂
Aamber- OMG really??
Kayla & Jaden- well yeah😂
Aamber- me too!!
Harris- dude no way same
Aamber- OMG AYAYA
Kenzie- Ugh I'm going to mcdonalds
Morgan- I'm not even close yet😂😑
---JADENS POV---
I walk into Sheetz and Order my food. I grab a hotdog, candy and some chips along with a drink. I see Aamber and Harris walk in then Kayla after them. Aamber and Harris wonder off with each other and Kayla come over.
"Hey Kayla" I say
"Hey Jaden" she says as she orders
"Whatcha getting to eat?"'I ask
"Sliders, Cookie Dough, granola Bar and orange juice. What about you?" She says
"I got a hotdog some candy and chips along with lemonade" I say
"Sweet" she says grabbing her ticket from the machine and going to pay.
She comes back.
"So are you excited for the World Series?" She asks
"Yes! Are you?" I ask
"Omg YASS!!" She shouts
"Oops to loud" she whispers
"Let's just pretend no one heard that" I say
We both start laughing.
Then my number is called and I head up to get my food.
"Sorry Kayla, I hate to leave you. But my parents want me to leave now." I say sad
"It's okay Jaden. My number should be called soon" she says then her number is called
"Well good" I say laughing
She comes back laughing with me and we he's doing into our separate cars. I get into my car to see my two brothers.
"So..Where is Kayla?" Landon asks
Well let me explain this to go you readers, Kayla and Landon are really close and good friends. Landon absolutely loves her.
"She is in her car, on her way home like us" I say
"I miss her" Landon says
"So do I" I say with a smile and hug him
"Don't worry, we'll see her soon" I say
"Good" he says smiling
It says pretty quiet for the rest of the ride. Just listening to music and watching some movies. Once we get home, I run into the house and up the stairs into my bed. I lay there for a good 2 minutes and look at my phone that is lit up with notifications. That's when my mom comes up.
"Jaden, you have two days to pack and get ready, better get started" my mom says
"Okay mom" I say
I start with clothing, uniforms, shoes and all that. I then packed my toothbrush and all that. Continuing, this was mostly a vacation depends on how far we make it. Of course, I pack my baseball stuff.
---KAYLAS POV---
Once I get home, I relax a little then start packing. I post a pic from the tourney announcing we will be going to World Series! (The pic is some of the stuff Kayla packed for clothing but much more other stuff also) As, time flys I'm still packing, with tons of beach stuff, clothing, softball stuff, toothbrush and Things like that. I soon finish with almost everything. Then I look at my phone to see the squad group chat lit.
Cole- We all gotta hang before we head off to the series!
Morgan- We could all watch a movie, play games and bake cookies!
Braden- I'm down.
Kenzie- Sounds good!
Kayla- where it gonna be at tho?
Cole- We can have it at my house.
Jaden- yea, cause you got the nice theater.
Zach- Coles it is!
Jack- 7:00?
Kayla- works for me
Morgan- me too
Kenzie- me three
It's already 6 o'clock. I throw on some leggings and a PINK (the brand) sprit jersey. Then some sperries. My hair was already straight so I just let it go. I sit on my phone for a little scrolling through social media. It's around 6:30. So I head over to aamber's room to see if she was ready.
"You ready?" I shout
"Yes!" She says
"Okay, well it's time to go" I say
She jumps out of her chair and follows me down the steps. We get in the car and head to Cole's. Once we got there, I was amazed there house was huge! He had a pool, but it was already tarped off. We get out of the car and head to the door. I ring the doorbell and Luke answers.
"Hey Kayla and who is this?" He asks
"Oh, I'm Aamber!" Aamber shouts
"Nice to meet you" he says as they exchange smiles
We head in.
"They are downstairs" Luke says
"And Aamber..Harris is not so cuddly" he says laughing
"Oh good to know" she says blushing
I laugh too as we walk down the steps.
"Let me guess my brother, Made something up about us that you found funny?" Cole says asking but laughing also
"Yeaaaa" I say barley getting the words out from laughing so hard
I look over at Jaden and he is laughing at me too. It makes me laugh harder. I eventually stop and so does Aamber.
"So...what movie?" Aamber asks
"The boy!" Morgan shouts
"Aww hell no" I say snapping my fingers
"She hates scary movies" Aamber says laughing at me
"Yeah I do" I say
"It's okay Kayla, Jaden will keep you safe" Braden says smirking
I throw a pillow at him, as my face turns red.
"Damn" Braden says laughing at me
Coke scrolls through his channels and finds the boy. He puts it on. Jaden is sitting next to me on the couch. Which was very very big. I hid my face. Once I saw the boys face. It just scared me. Jaden seems to realize me being afraid. I mean like I was covered in a blanket covering my face. He puts his arm around me. I look up to see him smiling down at me. Oh how much I love his smiled :)
Sorry for the lack of updates but duhhhhhhh.. School and selection and stuff plus sports. Anyways since it's the weekend I hope for more updates :))
