Rebekah led me down a trail and I knew all to well that we weren't going to pick berries like she'd told her family. So I just followed her as my mind wandered back to Klaus. His sandy blonde hair, blue eyes that looked like stars, full red lips that made me want to melt.

Then Rebekah pulled me from my thoughts telling me sit down beside her. She had led me to a meadow.

"So why have you led me here"?

"It's been along time since I've had a friend to talk to or play with. You looked about my age and I didn't want to spend time with either of your...sisters."

"Neither do I. So who is the girl Tatia that Kol called a slut"?

Rebekah chuckled then said "I just knew you were going to ask that. Tatia moved here a few months by herself. She had a child before she came here yet everyone in this village is swooned by her beauty. Including not 1 but 2 if my brothers."

"Which of your brothers"?

"Elijah is the other brother. They both fawn over her and then get heartbroken when she is caught with the other brother. Father had made many attempts for Elijah to be wed but he always declines because of her."

"So she is a slut" I said.

"Yes. I mean first a child and now 2 of my brothers. Both of them are going to end up heartbroken" Rebekah said sadly.

"What does she look like"?

"Just like your sisters. It makes me wonder if they were separated at birth or what happened. Do you know"?

"No like Ric said we were all adopted because we all lost our families. But I assure you that my sisters are the opposite of Tatia" I said confidently. I hope my sisters didn't prove me wrong.

Before Rebekah could respond we heard a crunching sound. Someone was approaching. Rebekah pulled me behind some bushes.

Then I saw it. Tatia was walking hand in hand with Elijah smiling like he was the only man in the world. They turned to each other and Tatia kissed him good bye.

Elijah walked away and a few minutes later Klaus walked to her. She looked at him the same way she looked at Elijah.

"I can't believe they fell for that" I said in disgust.

"I know" Rebekah agreed "but Caroline you didn't see the way he looked at you. I think he likes you."

"Yeah right are you sure he wasn't looking at my sisters"? I asked.

"Yes Caroline it was you. Hey aren't you coming of age"?

"Yes a month from tomorrow" I answered nervously about where this was going.

"So that means that that Alaric is surely looking for a husband. Mikael will probably start looking for me too" Rebekah said and I groaned. Rebekah giggled in response.

"Rebekah...Caroline" we heard Ric call. Then he appeared in front of us.

"Hey girls Mikael said that dinner is ready."

"Oh my gosh it's already dinner" I exclaimed.

"Yup so let's go eat" Ric said walking back to the village.

"After dinner I'll show you around the village" Rebekah said excitedly.

"Ok" I replied but all I wanted to do is be with Niklaus.
