lis sighed in frustration as she deleted another line of text from the opened chapter. she couldn't think of anything to write. she had writers block. all the ideas she once had for this story were gone. no inspiration at all. she ran a hand through her hair as she tried to think of something that was funny but nothing came to mind. so she did what many writers do, she gave up. lis subconsciously moved to close the wattpad app but stopped herself. she decided to post this one last chapter as a goodbye. it was a simple chapter, no more than a few lines long. it wasn't even something that was laughable. but this didn't bother her. she was glad to get this story done so she could focus on others. this was her first fic that started out strong but she lost interest in it over time. lis pressed the publish button on her phone screen and watched as the reads went up. then the comments came. many were understanding but there were one or two who were disappointed in it ending. she refreshed the page every few minutes before deciding to head into the settings part of the fic. her fingers danced over the button. the one that would make the end of this book official. the "completed" button. she took in a deep breath before clicking the button, watching as it flipped to blue. her characters who represented her friends and her own personality were gone.
the fic that was once her pride and joy, was done.
