1 month laterScarlett
Jenna and I got along pretty well and became good friends in only a short period of time. Jonnathan left for New York the very next day we got here and only came back briefly throughout the whole month. He was shooting a new movie called "The Sinners".
We strolled around the streets of L.A. during the day getting the full tour of the city and fooled around having drinking contests every night. We sat by the beach and put our feet in the sand. One night we even watched the sunset from Jonnathan's back yard, where of course there was a huge pool.
We got to spend a lot of time together and she barely slept at her own house. During the day Jenna went off to work but we were together again during the evening. We ordered in every night. I wanted to prepare something for us but Jenna refused to let me put my cooking skills to use.
I couldn't of been thankful enough to her for not leaving me alone in a place where I knew no one. I didn't know why she was being this nice to me and I didn't care if there was a reason behind it or not. She was a lovely person to be around and for the first time in a very long time, I was having fun.
Tonight we were headed to a club. My very first in L.A.
A couple of Jenna's friends had called her to go out but she told them she wasn't in the mood. I felt bad for keeping her locked up in this house with me. I forced her to get dressed. She swore that she didn't want to go but I wouldn't take no for an answer, I told her it was about time I got a night out as well. She hesitated at first but then finally gave in and excepted my proposal.
So here we were, parked in front of L.A. Wade, the most popular club in the city.
"Jonnathan's not going to be too happy about this," she said while we walked to the front entrance.
"Well Jonnathan's not here," I reminded her.
"Yeah, but I promised him that I would look after you." She had beautiful cat eyes and the smokey eye makeup was really making them stand out.
We were both wearing black. She was wearing a short black dress, stripped with dark shadows. I had picked out the two peace with long sleeves she had brought from her house. The skirt was short enough to have me constantly pulling at it.
I looked down at myself once more before entering the red velvet doors, that were drowning out the loud music behind it.
High heels weren't exactly my thing. But wearing flats to the most popular club in L.A. with a bunch of well dressed model looking Californians, would be sure to make me stand out.
Just the kinda thing I liked. Standing out. Well, I had put this on myself so, I needed to grow some balls if I didn't want my insecurities revealed in front of them.
And so we partied. And so I got drunk.
"Scarlett, get out of there right fuckin' now!" Jonnathan was yelling over the phone.
We had only been inside the club for over an hour when Jonnathan started blasting up my cell.
"Hey, you're the one who left me here alone!" I yelled back angrily and a little tipsy.
"Scarlett, listen to me, you don't wanna be in there, just turn to the door and walk out."
"No!" I screamed a little too loudly. "If you're so concerned about my well-being, then you come here and make me!" I disconnected the call gulping down the remaining of my drink.
My phone beeped. It was a text message from Jonnathan. Scarlett, baby girl, listen to me. You need to go home. You are not well and you can't be in there right now. Please listen to me. We'll talk when I get home. I'll be there in 2 days. I promise I'll make it up to you. Trust me. Now be a good girl that you are and go home.
