ScarlettI wanted to go with him. I wanted to be with him, be important to him. I was sick. My vulnerbility had reached it's limits and I was willing to do anything to be discovered. I wanted to be a part of his 'family'. A part of his world. One of his girls is what he had called them.
Yes. I was sick.
I wanted him to want me. It was a force that was stronger then life itself and it drew me further in.
I took one last look at Jonnathan as the space between us spread larger with every second of his silence.
What had I ever done to him to deserve the cold shoulder he had given me?
I sat numbly in the back seat of Casper's black bentley as he exchanged his last words with Jonnathan before getting into the vehicle. I pushed away the heavy weight on my chest, ignoring the urge to crawl under the seat of the car.
The whole drive to the house was awkward, filled with intense energy. But it all faded as soon as we entered the gates of Satan. Loud music was blasted throughout the entire premises mixed with splashes of water and laughter coming from a nearby distance. We entered the double glass doors to be greeted by an enthusiastic Monica. She wore a hot pink bikini, showcasing her contoured body and golden complexion.
She threw her arms around me catching me off guard. "Welcome home, Scarlett."

"Rule number one, no jealousy."
We sat on the bed of my new bedroom as Monica took me through the do's and don't's of the household. I had noticed all the rooms had numbers to them when we'd passed through the hallways. Mine was number ten. Monica's was number one. It figured.
"There is no disrespecting any of the other girls nor can they show disrespect towards you. We all stick together. We are one family."
"W-what exactly is this place?" I was trying to be as catious with my questions as with my emotions.
Monica sighed tilting her head to the side. "You have no idea, do you? You didn't even read the paperwork?"
I shook my head.
"Casper can have that effect on people, I understand."
This time I nodded and she laughed. "You poor thing, he's really gotten to you hasn't he?"
I didn't answer.
"Look, he might be a cold hearted bastard most of the time but he takes good care of us. He doesn't let anyone mess with his girls. Everything is done by free will, nothing is forced. Ok?"
I didn't know what to say, I was utterly perplexed.
"Plus he makes big bucks and a huge percentage is spent to our advance. And the more you make the more he will praise you. It's all about the hard work and dedication to this family."
She gave me a wide smile as she reached for my hand, giving it a light squeeze. "Just to let you know, there are cameras around the whole house so you might want to consider undressing in the bathroom."
Monica left shortly after our conversation and I hid in the bathroom. It was the only place I could cry without anyone watching my every move. I slid down to the floor with my back against the door. My stomach growled loudly reminding me that I hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon. I wasn't use to being around too many people but I knew that sooner or later I would have to interact with the other girls. I leaned my head against the solid wood of the door and closed my eyes.
