"Jonnathan! You're suffocating me!" I groaned trying to push him off of my chest but his weight was no match for my strength.

"Is that what I'm doing?" He gives another push to his weight causing me to let out a shriek. "That's what you get for sitting on me." Jonnathan had been asleep on one of the sofas in the living room and I'd snuck up and sat on him, my legs dangling from the couch. And now he was doing the same except with his back pressed against me, crushing my wind pipe.

"Jonnathan I can't breathe! I'm serious!" My mouth was squashed into the cushion, muffling my attempts of cry out.

"Scarlett? Where's Scarlett?" Monica's voice came from the hallway.

Giving Jonnathan a useless push I managed to move his arm from the top of my head. "I'm over here."

"Jonnathan get off of her, she's turning blue." Jonathan chuckled and I gave him a knee to the rib. "You see what I'm talking about?" He sat up after giving me one last push, sinking me into the sofa.

"Scarlett, you're booked for a photo shoot today at four. You'll be changing twelve outfits in a row, so you might wanna get some rest before they get here."

Monica was in charge of all the girls. When Casper wasn't around we had to answer to her. And I had no problem with that because she was always good with me, showing me around and keeping track of my schedules until I could properly manage to do so myself.

This was my third photo shoot in two weeks and I was sort of starting to get the hang of it. Except all three of them hadn't been that discomforting compared to the one I was doing today. Monica and I went through a quick briefing last night, letting me in on some of the details. One of them was the fact that it required less clothing.

Rodger, the photographer was a nice guy. He led me through the first photo shoot with kind words, telling me that I was a natural and how I had nothing to worry about. Still, I knew today it was going to be a difficult pull for me because I wasn't use to having my photo taken in underwear and bra.

My stomach growled. I wasn't allowed to eat anything but salad all day. Monica suggested a strict diet before photo shoots. The training part was the hardest and I dreaded every single one of them. The trainer was very loud and abhorrent, constantly yelling at me to work out my stomach muscles and tighten my butt. How I'd wanted to smack him over the head the first day we had started our sessions.

"I have to check on the twins and make sure they're not late for their flight." I hadn't realized just how hard Monica was working until I watched her juggle six tasks at once, looking after everyone else in this house. My jaw had dropped when she told me that the twins were going on tour with JLo as her backup dancers. This life felt so unrealistic at times that I had to take a moment once in a while and let it sink in. It was fun being around the girls but mostly exausting.

"Speaking of flights, I gotta go too." Jonnathan lifted his weight from the sofa and stretched.

"You're leaving?"

"I thought you didn't want me here?" He grinned sheepishly. "I gotta get back to New York babe, or the producers are gonna have my ass." He leaned down to plant a kiss on my forhead. "I just wanted to see you before I leave."

"See me or sleep?" I teased playfully untangling my hair from the messy knots that he had created while wrestling me against the sofa.

He pinched my nose and I swatted his hand away. "I'll be back in a couple of weeks, in time for your big twenty-one." I felt a wave of emotions go through me as he helped me up and drew me in for a hug. I missed him when he was away.
