ScarlettI got the the usual makeover by Brian, Monica's stylist/hairdresser which I later on understood worked for Casper. He did the fixing of all the girls which now included yours truly.
The dress was a beautiful shade of red and fit my body perfectly as if I'd been tailored for it. But I couldn't disagree that it wouldn't of hurt for the length to have been a tad longer. Not that it bothered me at all now, in fact I felt quite comfortable and sexy in it.
Brian had spent the whole day waxing and tweeking my whole body that it almost hurt to flinch. But it all had payed out when I had put on the short dress that showcased my legs to perfection.
"Ok lady in red, you're all set to go." Brian studied me up and down one last time, twirling me to inspect my highlighted hair.
The stairs were merciless to my feet as I hurried to keep up with Monica's effortless steps in her six inch heels. By now I was pretty sure she could do back flips with those things on.
I took in a deep breath as we approached the others who were cheerfully conversing with each other.
"Girls, girls. I'm honored to present to you the newest edition to our family, Ms. Scarlett O'connor." All heads were turned our direction and sets of eyes wondered up and down my body." I held in my breathe, feeling my legs slightly tremble.
"Lets go in order, shall we." Monica waved in the direction of the first girl.
"Amber, number 2." She pointed to a tall and gorgeously tanned girl with silver blond hair that went down to her waist. She smiled and noded with the confidence of a goddess, one she could of pretty easily been in a previous life.
"Lana, number 3." The beautiful brunette waved slightly as Monica mentioned her name.
"Chrissy, number 4." Chrissy had the biggest baby blue eyes I had ever seen and they lit up as she gave me a wide grin."
"Cindy, number 5. I think you two already know each other." My eyes widened as the realization kicked in. Cindy gave me a sulky look but noded politely.
Well this is going to be awkward.
The last time I remembered Cindy had been head over heels obssessed with Jonnathan. How many of these girls had he slept with?
"Libby and Lea with the numbers 6 and 7." My attention moved to the twins glued to each other like peaunut butter and jelly in a sandwhich. I noticed their faces as the images from the night at the club with the two girls kissing while a guy sat squeezed in between them flashed in my head.
"Cara, number 8."
"And last but never least, Aurora holding number 9." I smiled at the girls as we headed out, catching a glimpse of Amber eyeing me precariously.
We slid into the limo and I settled for the far end by the door. I expected the limo to start moving but we stood in place.
"Who are we waiting for?" I whispered to Monica.
"The grand prize of the night," she said with a insidious grin.
"Good evening ladies." My heart skipped a beat as I stared at the stunning male that propped into the limo and took a seat across from me. He sat in front of me in between Cindy and Amber and my heart rate sped up when Cindy brushed against him, sliding one arm into his. She stared at me and I got the message loud and clear from her cold eyes. She was letting me know that she was going home with the trophy tonight.
I wasn't planning on a cat fight anyways. Wait a minute....did Monica mean....Casper was the grand prize of the evening? Did he choose one for every night?
I felt sick as I imagined him sleeping with all of these girls in a row. I lowered my eyes reconsidering the possibility of winning against any of them. Even though Brian had done a great job of cleaning me up tonight, I was still nothing compared to these beauties. Not to mention my lack of confidence which gave away the immaturity I possessed for this game.
Rihanna's song 'work' blasted through the club as we passed the line of people and entered the velvet doors. Familiarity sorounded me as I followed Monica and the other girls through groups of people up to the vip section. But ten minutes into the evening, everyone was scattered around the club and I was left alone. At least I had my drink to comfort me.
I stood up drink in hand and leaned my elbows against the metal railing, looking down at the dance floor full of people. My heart fluttered as I noticed Casper dancing with Amber. His arms were around her waist as she ground against him with her back to his chest. Her moves were dirty and slick as she showed the rest of the podium who the boss was.
I bet I could pull those moves. With a little help of alcohol maybe to boost my self assurance but I was sure I could pull it off.
Just as I'd gathered enough balls to descend to the dance floor I was blocked by a tall blonde figure.
"So we meet again. Scarlett, was it?"
Creepy thigh guy.
If it wasn't for the memory of his hand on my thigh that night that made me cringe, he could of easily passed for a charming guy. He seemed to be on his best behaviour tonight because he didn't attempt to grope me on his first approach.
"I believe we got off on the wrong foot the other night, and I sincerely apologize for that." I eyed him with suspition as he stretched out his hand. "I'm Kevin." I shook his hand with a reserve of caution.
"I would like to get properly aquainted if you allow," he said squeezing my hand lightly. I relaxed a little at his confession.
For the next hour or so Kevin proved himself to be a rather layed back gentleman as we engaged in a conversation about his work with Casper and Jonnathan. He owned a modeling agency that included some of the well known celebrities in the business. Although I still kept my distance with him I felt a bit less uncomfortable in his presence.
I almost felt relieved as Cindy showed up taking over the conversation. She practicaly dragged him away from me and I was left alone again. I took the chance to escape to the dance floor. Beyonce's partition was blasting and I couldn't fight the urge to start swaying my hips to it. Shutting my eyes I blocked out the crowd as I moved to the beat, letting the feeling of freedom take over my body.
Feeling a presence near, my eyes shot open to see Jonnathan standing in front of me. Surprising him I gave him a weak smile and he grinned, pulling me into a hug. "I knew you would forgive me," he whispered in my ear. "Are you ok?" I took his face in between my hands and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "And you're drunk," he chuckled. I nodded wrapping my arms around his neck. I could never stay angry at him for too long, he knew me too well.
"I love you," he murmured against my hair and I couldn't help but smile.
************************************At three in the morning we were crowded in the limo, laughing and singing along to every song that was playing on the stereo. I was amazed at the amount of energy we all still had after partying hard. Jonnathan was sitting next to me with his arm around my shoulder where a let my head rest once in a while.
"Those were some pretty sick moves you were throwing back at the club Scarlett, do you take lessons?" Lana asked as she bobbed her head to the music.
Jonnathan snorted. "Yeah, if you consider Louis xiii and red wine a dance instructor then you got it!" I jabbed him in the stomach and giggled. He held my head against his chest laughing "Class is in session people!" He covered his mouth to one side pretending to whisper. "It only happens when the boos hit hard." My face got warm as they all laughed.
Jonnathan joined us back at the house and I felt more at ease knowing he was around. The after party lasted until five and by the time the energy had died out I was drifting off on one of the leather sofas.
I heard my name being called but I couldn't wrap my brain around the voice. A pair of strong arms lifted me up from the couch and I was carried up through the corridors with my head rested on a firm chest. I was stripped out of my dress and covered with a soft sheet.
I heard a long sigh against my forehead. "As much as I would love to get under these sheets with you Scarlett, I have to restrain myself from taking advantage of you like this. But one day.....I promise."
