Ch. 6: The Voices

No one's POV

From afar you can see flashes of black and blue, but when you come up close, you can see two mages who were breathing heavily, surrounded by bodies of clocked people on the ground. Gray was starting to feel the stress on him after fight many mages, but Lucy though, she didn't even look exhausted. Her power was never ending as she swung her scythe in the air. With one strike, she cleared out half of the enemies, but they kept on coming. The both of them were about to start attacking again when the mysterious mages clobbered together and disappeared.

A mysterious voice then spoke, resonating through the surrounding area.

"I will come back. Watch your back Heartfilia....." the voice hissed

Lucy looked spun her head around, trying to depict where the voice was coming from, but to no avail.

"They're finally gone." Gray breathed out and lain on the ground sighing

Lucy didn't say anything as she was thinking hard about who sent those cloaked men.

'I feel like I heard that voice before... But it seems that Gray didn't hear anything.'

"Well now we have to head to Hibiki forest to find out what my father wants," Lucy said calmly and thought, 'and who that voice belonged to, too.'

"Hn." Gray grunted and sat down with his back to a tree

He closed his eyes to take sometime to think about the events that have happened so far. Lucy then decided to sit down besides Gray as she waited for him.

Somehow, in the midst of fighting, Gray had managed to take off his cloak and shirt, leaving his chest bare. Lucy looked over at his face and noticed the scar from the mission on Galuna Island peaking out and the peaceful expression on him.

'If only you hadn't followed me...none of this trouble would have affected you in any way.' Lucy thought feeling a pang of sorrow

Little did she know, she was right.

(Someone's POV)

'Damn it! Now that she's awaken that stupid power, she's more difficult to capture..' I thought furiously

'Well, now I'm just going to have to resort to plan B.' I thought with sadness that left me immediately

Smirking psychotically, I materialized a ball of swirling black magic in my hand and with the other I injected a serum into it.

"I hope you are able to endure this... Heartfilia." I spat with venom and cackled evilly

As we were walking, I felt myself being pulled into this vision.

"Gray.. Help me..." I croaked as I fell

Vision (Lucy's POV)

"Nngh.. Where am I?" I mumbled out loud as I rubbed my eyes

I looked around the place and only saw black walls.

A figure then materialized in front of me. This person was wearing a split skirt, a lavender colored top, and has short white-

"Lissanna!!" I growled with anger

I tried to stand but was forced down by her.

"Lucy, you were never really liked. Everyone would just plaster fake smiles on in front of you, but you never noticed. You were too stupid and oblivious. Silly girl, you're worse than shit. Did you really believe that anyone liked you? NO ONE likes you. Not Natsu, not Gray, not Erza, and not anyone in the guild. You were always weak, never grew strong. That's why Natsu doesn't want you on the team anymore and instead wants me." Lissanna said, all while smirking

"You don't deserve the guild's mark. You should've never joined, considering you were useless anyways. You only brought trouble with you and never did anything helpful."

"You're a good for nothing." She spat

Tears pooled around my eyes, but never fell.

'Why am I feeling these damn emotions again?' I thought angrily

I clenched my fist and swung at her, but missing her.

"She's right Lucy. You never helped on missions and me or Erza would always have to save your sorry ass." Natsu appeared and added

Slowly members of the guild materialized one by one and added their hate to the ongoing list.

I finally bent my head down, accepting the painful truth.

"They're right.. I should get stronger. Maybe then I won't be so useless anymore." I mumbled

"I'll get stronger and I'll be so powerful that none of you would stand a chance." I said and looked up with one of my eyes, glaring darkly at each and everyone of them

Then, I said something unheard of by everyone there.

"Dragon Reaper: Soul Extinguisher," I whispered darkly with my hand out and everyone began to disappear

Once the last person was gone, I had a flaming red ball in my hands. There were many colors within the orb, but the red was the most prominent one there.

"You're lucky you weren't actually here, otherwise I would've really taken your souls minna." I whispered
