Ch. 8: Their Side

At the guild of Fairy Tail around the time Lucy left

Many were shocked at what came over them to say those things to the celestial spirit mage.

"Tch, you fucking with me hot head? You and your stupid girlfriend are the reason Lucy left! Sometimes I have no fucking clue what goes in your head, but this crosses the line completely!" A certain iron dragon slayer shouted and advanced towards the duo

Many heard the commotion and turned towards the two. The insult Gajeel gave was enough to show that he was not playing around this time.

"Eep!" Lissanna pretended to squeak and hid behind Natsu with a fake, innocent facade

"What the hell are you talking about? I only told her the truth!" Natsu growled back protecting Lissanna with his muscular arms

"The TRUTH?! Natsu, I have known you for a while now and never did I think you were that stupid. When fighting, you always mention protecting your nakama, but from this, I can see that your just spouting idiotic lies out of your mouth! Lu-chan is one of the kindest girls you could meet and have a great friendship with, but you just broke that privilege." Levy yelled, slamming her hand down on the table she was at and stepped up next to Gajeel, glaring at Natsu

"And you Lissanna..! " Levy glared while pointing accusingly at her, "Never in a million years had I thought that you would come back, more or less change so much! I always thought that you were such a kind and innocent friend that would never hurt anyone, but now I'm staring to doubt myself."

Everyone directed their eyes to Levy as she said all of this, sweat dripping down the face of some who now feared the ferocious bookworm. Confusion and tension swirled around the guild even more as everyone was trying to figure out what caused the situation and who messed with their whole being.

The tension was high in the room as no one paid attention to the one Ice Mage who made eye contact with the Master, nodded, and left the guild in a rush.

"Levy, why won't you stop being stupid and naive and start to pay attention to what's really going on. Lissanna has nothing to do with this and neither do I. I just felt like finally letting Lucy know the truth that I've been holding back for a while now."

'No, that's not what I wanted to say!'

Gajeel growled, pissed at the salmon haired mage that made the rude remark about Lucy and insulted HIS shrimp.

Lissanna smirked inwardly behind Natsu and thought, "Great, everything is going according to the plan. Soon everything will fall in place and I will be able to commence it .."

"Levy-chan I never intended for anything to happen when I came back. You didn't have to straight out go and say those hurtful things . I didn't even do anything yet you're blaming me for everything." Lissanna said while sniffing and wiping away some fake tears

Natsu turned around and shaded her from the duo, whispering comforting words to her with one of his arms draped over her shoulder.

'Just what the hell am I doing?'

"She's right Levy, Lissanna did nothing, but you're already blaming her." Erza defended, standing up stiffly from her stool at the bar and advanced towards the take-over mage

'What is wrong with me? Why did I just say that!'

"Erza-san, I'm not sure what's gotten into you, but Lissanna has been the whole cause of this! Have you been blind to this whole situation?" Wendy shot back, standing up from a side table of the guild
