The dragon shot fire at me through it's flaring nostrils and open mouth, which I easily dodged by flying upward before it flew towards me at an incredible speed. I quickly lifted my leg before the dragon bit it off. It was surprisingly fast for its size. I expected it to be sluggish, or at least slower than me. I had to find a new strategy for this. I quickly ducked behind a mountain of treasure, hoping that the dragon didn't follow me, and timidly peeked over the top of a treasure chest, only to spot it floating above the treasure a little ways across the room. The dragon's eyes were searching frantically for me, peeking behind the mountains of treasure, slowly making its way to me. I figured I had about two minutes to figure something out.

"Damn KG!" The dragon roared and I felt the cave shake. "Making a damn fool of me! You're going to pay for this!"

I gulped, wondering what the dragon would do to me once it found me. Tear my limbs off, gouge my eyes out, and use my femur as a chew toy! No, what the hell am I thinking? Can I focus on the task at hand please? I can't beat it with agility, mobility, or strength. Maybe I can use its size...

I knew what I had to do. I tried it once before when it had attacked Yorokobi, but I know this time I can win. I waited patiently for the dragon to approach my pile of treasure. It was coming for the left, so I scooted to the right. As it circled the mountain of treasure, I followed it, keeping a close eye on its tail. As the dragon made a full 360 around the treasure, I flew and latched onto its tail. I propelled myself across its body onto its back before it had time to react.

"Damn human!" It screamed as I stabbed downward with my sword. I made clean cuts across its back, but not very deep or effective since I had to focus on not being thrown off by the dragon's many attempts. I heard a whipping noise and turned to see the dragon's tail come crashing down near me. I crawled just enough to get out of the way, but the impact of the tail hitting its back almost sent me flying. I pitied the dragon for hitting itself.

The dragon was suddenly flying vertically. I was falling, but managed to clasp my hands around one of the dragon's spikes. It was flying backwards, and I turned my head into the direction we were moving. I knew what it was trying to do. We were flying directly into the wall! It was trying to squish me! I silently panicked, but I had another idea that would keep me onto this dragon. I climbed down using the spikes and wrapped my arms around its legs. I was almost too late, but I climbed around onto the underside of the leg and used the thick skin as a cushion before the dragon slammed into the wall. I guess dragons aren't so smart after all.

While it was still in shock, I let go and stabbed my sword deep into the dragon's belly. I flew upwards towards the dragon's head, keeping the sword lodged  into the dragon's body. I slashed outward, cutting the dragon's neck when I reached it. The dragon roared and tumbled into the ground. It lied on its own bleeding wounds and I almost thought I killed it.

"Damn... Human!" It whimpered when it tried to get up.

"I guess I won." My sword disappeared and I rested a hand against the dragon's body. Alright, KG, heal it! I told myself, and the dragon's body began glowing.

"You're saving me?" The dragon asked sheepishly.

"Of course. No way in hell am I going to let you die."

"But I put you through this hell... I can't imagine what Izanagi must've done to you."

"No." I shook my head. "Izanagi put me through this hell.  But he put your race through this hell, too. Where are the rest of your kind?"

"They're hiding underground. Not here. Away from Izanagi. He only requested a single dragon to help him in his task. I volunteered, not wanting my brethren to be harmed. I guess I am a coward. I didn't even try to stop Izanagi. I hope we haven't ruined our standings with humans. Our kind cannot last against a war. We have no allies."
