How many days has it been? Exactly 58 since he escaped and got rescued. Yes, he has been counting, just like what he did before. He was stuck there for exactly 3668 days. 3664 days since he last saw his parents. 3660 days since he started working unwillingly. He counts to keep his sanity in check. Think of it, every day with only a small hard earned supply of food. It was usually cold bread, but on some days, he was lucky he got to even eat the leftover food from dinner. Those adults would eat to their heart's content, leaving whatever remaining to the dogs. They were usually bits of vegetable and rice left on the plate.
Ah. How many hours since his last meal? He has been busy since his first day of school so I would assume eight hours and eighteen minutes exact. He has been so busy studying the basics of Science that he has not simply had time to eat. Though he could afford for a simple warm meal like rice with vegetables and meat, he still had cold bread or anything cold. It had become a habit and anything warm simply did not suit his taste anymore.
Lastly, how many minutes has he been working on that little project of his? 5276168 minutes. Ever since that day, he has been wanting revenge.
Counting and keeping track of everything is how he kept his sanity in check.
How do I know? Because I can.
