Recap:
"What black room are you talking about? You said something about that before," Aspen asked.
"I'm not sure either, but that is where I woke up long ago, I don't know how long ago, though, but a very long time ago. It is a small dark room, about the size of your room. There are no windows, the walls are black and there is a locked door. No matter how hard I pulled or pushed, it would not open," Rose explained. "It was only a while ago before I entered your phone when the door creaked open and I found myself in your phone. From what was installed in my head before I left that room was that a huge gateway was opened."
That must be my app... I created my app to branch out greatly on the internet so I can connect to each human easily... So she's here because of the app? Aspen thought. Whatever it is... Is this girl really a bug?
"So you really don't know anything about what happened before you got stuck in that room you say?" Aspen asked as he continued talking to Rose. It has been 20 minutes since Rose reappeared and they have been talking ever since. Rose talked about how she had spent a do not know how long in a dark room.
"Yes, I do not recall a thing. Well, not that it matters. What I do remember is the first time I woke up in there. I was much smaller than how I look now. It was like a box, no doors, no windows, no nothing. I could only see my hands if I put my hands close enough to my face. It was really dark. If I tried to talk, the word will just echo through. It felt suffocating. The only thing I could do was sleep. I mean like what else can you do if you were trapped in something like a room." Rose said as she slowly recalled how it was before she escaped.
"Hmm... do you even know who you are?" Aspen asked.
"Absolutely no idea. I have tried recalling what happened before I was trapped but nothing comes up," Rose replied sadly.
"Hm... I am going to ask you some questions, answer me truthfully ok?" Aspen asked and sat down. He placed his phone with Rose on the screen on the table, standing up and facing him as if it was an interview.
"If I do not know the answer?" Rose asked.
"Just reply, do not know."
"Understand so what is the first question?"
"Did you always have legs and hands?"
"Yeah... OF COURSE! I CAN'T JUST GROW LEGS ALL OF A SUDDEN!"
"I guess so... Can you like to touch your legs and arms?"
"WHAT? What kind of question is that? Mister, you are creepy..." Rose shrunk back and glared at Aspen.
"I don't mean it that way! Just curious," Aspen replied.
"Creepy Aspen, I shall now call you that," Rose commented.
Aspen sighed and continued his questioning. "Do you know the diameter of the Earth?"
"Er... How am I supposed to know that? Wait..is it 12,742 km?"
"Yeah..."
"REALLY?! I did not know that."
"But, you just said it was 12,742 km," Aspen said, raising an eyebrow in suspicion
"I really don't know! It just suddenly popped into my head. One moment I was thinking if I knew the answer, then the next moment, POOF! I know the answer. Is that weird?"
"It depends on actually. if you are a bug, it won't be surprising. But if you are human, then it is weird."
"I am not a bug! A bug is a... a small insect! Wait, how did I know that? Creepy Aspen! It happened again! The answer just popped into my head when I thought of it! Wait...WHY WOULD YOU THINK I AM BUG! THAT IS JUST GROSS! I AIN'T A BUG!"
"Stop calling me that! It's weird."
"NOT WEIRDER THAN YOU CALLING ME A BUG!"
"Oh for crying out loud. I meant a computer bug... you know"
"Oh... A computer bug? An error in a computer program or system... WAIT! I AM NOT AN ERROR! Did you Mister Creepy Aspen, download anything that made me appear?"
"I downloaded a supposed item from 'The Awesome Me' that I ordered, but instead, you came out from it. I tried deleting you but it did not work. So you cannot be a program, only possible to be a bug. And stop calling me Creepy Aspen..."
"Bu..but. I AM NOT A BUG! EVEN IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT A BUG!"
'Wow.. she is really persistent.. maybe she is not a bug. She does have hands and legs and she can touch them. But she has a vast knowledge.. she says that if she thinks about something, the answer just pops into her head. Maybe she is a bug? But a bug is an error in a computer program or system. Sure, this is kind of like an error in my opinion, but I don't think she is going to cause any trouble or something in my phone. I downloaded it on my laptop but she is downloaded in my phone. This sure is weird..' Aspen thought.
"Hey.. is something wrong? You are staring into space.." Rose asked as she tilted her head to the side.
'And she definitely is not a bug from what I can decipher. But then.. what is she?' Aspen thought as he nodded his head to answer rose. "So.. what do think happened before you ended up in the room."
"I am not sure?"
"Maybe you were a human before you got stuck, living your own life any other."
"A human life... Like yours...?" Rose muttered in question. Then, she started to glitch out a little and the screen turned black. Aspen's mouth was agape, confused at what was happening. He shook his phone a few times, but nothing was happening. Then, a glitchy picture of a bed with unknown mechanical equipment surrounding. Then, a low and smooth voice vibrated from his phone, it was unclear what exactly it said, but Aspen could swear that some point of his life, he heard this voice before. It was like a long lost memory from the past.
