ALEXIS POV
'Can Evan come too?' Melissa asked me as we both cleaned up the tables, we were working our last shift together.
It's been two weeks since Mel found out about me and Ev, and the both of them became great friends, which made me happy.
Sadly enough he and Emma had visited his parents, so I hadn't seen him in three days.
'I'm not sure. Emma is very suspicious, these days.' I said.
'So why does he stay with her if he loves you?' Mel asked suddenly.
'Hmmm,' I said, furrowing my eyebrows and biting my lip. 'I don't know, I never asked him.'
And when you spoke about the evil, it looked you right in the eyes, I turned around and saw Evan walking in the coffeeshop.
'Babe!' I shouted enthousiastically as I ran up to him and jumped into his arms.
Evan laughed, a sound I had to miss for too long, and picked me up a bit before putting me back down and smashing his lips against mine.
I immediatly deepened the kiss and pulled him closer to me.
Mel cleared her throat loudly to get our attention.
'Hi, Evan.'
'Hi, Melissa.'
'So, a friend of mine is throwing a party tonight, I convinced Alexis to go, are you coming too?'
'I'm not sure, but I'll see what I can do.' Evan said as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in for a tight hug.
Mel had stayed at my appartment for a few hours to get ready for the party, she made me wear this dress I felt so uncomfortable in, but she assured me Evan would love it.
So I wore it anyway.
It was ten o'clock when we left to the party.
Somehow I was dissapointed that Evan didn't make it, but Mel convinced me to just let it go for a minute and have a great time.
We were dancing to Ke$ha with a beer in our hand when suddenly I felt an arm around my shoulder.
I thought it was Evan but when I turned around it turned out to be a drunk frat boy.
I slipped out of his grip and stood next to Mel, who was too busy talking to a sober frat boy.
'Hey, pretty lady.' The drunk dude mumbled.
'I'm sorry, I don't know you.' I said.
'Darling, one of the most fun things of a party is meeting new people.' He replied as he put an arm around my waist in a grip I could'nt get myself loose of.
'No, not really. I don't really like parties.'
'Come here, let's dance.' The drunk man murmured as he gripped me closer, leaning in and I could feel his breath against my lips.
'No,I uhm. I think you should probably know I have a boyfriend.' I said trying to get rid of him, but he held my face in it's place with his strong hands and kept leaning in.
'No, stop it! Let me go!' I shouted as I struggled and pushed his chest but he didn't budge.
'I assume the lady said no.' A very familiar voice said as the drunk guy let me go and Evan immediatly yanked me to his side.
'Relax, the lady has a great time.'
Evan scoffed. 'Asshole.'
'Me and the lady were just talking. You can go now, she's just fine.' Mr. Beerchampion said as he stroke my face with his fingertips.
'Don't you fucking touch her!' Evan spit through clenched teeth.
'I can touch her as much as I want.' The guy spit back as he squeezed my breast and I slapped his hand.
Before I knew it, Evan knocked the guy on the floor as he sat on top of him and kept punching him relentlessly.
Blood spurted from the guy's face as Evan kept throwing his fists to the druk frat boy's face as blood spat on his own.
'Evan, quit it!' I shouted but Evan didn't move a muscle.
A whole crowd had surrounded us in the meantime.
I ran up to the two men and tried to pull Evan of the drunk boy. 'EVAN! THAT'S ENOUGH!'
Ev stood up, wiping the sweat of his forehead with the back of his hand. 'Let's go.' He said harshly as he yanked me out of the house by my waist, keeping me close.
We sat in the car and I decided to wait before talking until Evan did, unsure of how he was going to react.
'I knew I had to come. I had a gut feeling.' Evan said, he sounded more calm.
'I'm sorry.' I mumbled.
He took my hand in his and kissed my knuckles. 'There's nothing you gotta be sorry for, baby.'
I sighed as he pulled into the driveway of the appartment building as we got out and went inside.
As we got into my home he sat down on the couch as I took a soaked cloth and wiped the blood of his face.
A tear fell from his face. 'You know, since I have you, I have only been thinking about you. Everything is you now. And I am just so afraid that you will find a guy who can spend all those times with you that you didn't get to spend with me, but it is just so hard for me right now.'
I bit my lip as I kept wiping the blood of his face. 'Why don't you leave her?'
He closed his eyes as he swallowed. 'I... I want to... But I can't. My family likes her so much and O am tired of dissapointing them.'
I nodded.
Evan wrapped his arms around my waist. 'Say you're mine... Just please, tell me you're mine.'
'I'm yours.' I whispered as I kissed his nose softly.
'Promise you'll stay with me forever?'
I sighed as I got up from the couch.
I wished I could have promised him I could, but with everything that was happening know I really had my doubts.
I loved Evan, with every fibre of my body.
But the tought he didn't wanted to leave his fiancee already made me feel like I was his second guess.
'Ev, you should go home.',
'What? Why? Why did you ignore my question?'
'Ev,...' I breathed, opening the door for him.
Evan closed his eyes in a desprate but failed attempt to keep his tears from falling. 'Okay. I love you.'
'I love you too.' I whispered as I kissed him and closed the door behind him.
