 ~Alexis POV~

It's been two weeks since I heard from Evan, and it hurted like hell.

But I held on and kept ignoring his calls, the day after he came by my appartment, I had 24 missed calls and about 12 messages.

They took off by the day, which had me concerned, because somehow I didn't wanted him to give up on me.

I woke up with terrible stomach cramps, like I've been waking up the last four days.

So I decided to call Melissa over to ask for some advice.

I stayed in bed until I heard a knock on the door, I knew it was Mel but somehow I was hoping Evan would show up.

I got up and opened the door. 'Hey.'

'Oh God, you look awful.' Melissa gave me a face.

'Thanks.'

We sat down on the couch as I explained Melissa what I was feeling and when it started.

Her eyes widened as she gasped. 'Oh my God!'

'What?' I ask her, panicking a little.

'When was your last period?' She asked.

My eyes widened also now. 'Shit, I uh,... I skipped one but that has happened before! It doesn't mean I'm...'

'Okay, okay, calm down. Stay! I am going to the pharmacy.' Melissa jumped up.

'The pharmacy? For what?' I asked in panick.

'A test, smartass! We need to know if you're pregnant!' She ran to the kitchen, getting her coat.

'Wait!  Mel!' I stopped her, she turned back to me.

'What if I am? What do I do?' I asked her.

She pressed her lips into a small stripe as she took my hand in her. 'I don't know. That's up to you, Alex.'

I was in the bathroom, the small stick laid on the sink, I was waiting for the results to appear.

After about fifteen minutes it showed, and with trembling hands I took the stick in my hands and glanced at it.

Two stripes.

Positive.

Oh, shit.

I sat down in the chair of Dr. Mallony, the doctor who always helped since I was born.

I didn't mind the hour driving to get there.

'Well, you are definitely preganant.' She stated.

'Since when?' I asked her.

'A month.' She said, smiling slightly. 'I assume you do know who the father is and when it happened?'

Who the father is? Duh. Do I look like a hooker? When?

Oh shit, the time at the door. In my appartment.

Shit. Shit. Shit.

'Yes, I do.' I finally replied.

'You're still very young, Alexis. You still have a while to decide whether you'd like to have an abortion or not.'

An abortion? I never thought of that before.

It could have been an option.

'Until when can I do that?' I asked.

'Until you reached three months.' She smiled lightly.

'Okay, well thank you very much.' I said while standing up from the comfortable chair.

'I'll call you for the first echo.' She shook my hand.

I was at Mel's house, telling her about the doctor's appointment.

'You gotta tell him.' She stated suddenly.

I tried to act dumb, but I goddamnit knew exactly who she was talking about. 'No, I won't. He has nothing to do with this.'

'Are you kidding, Alex? It's his baby too!'

'I can't stand in between him and his one true love.' I said, biting my lip as I stared into the distance.

'You're supposed to be his one true love.'

I nodded vaguely, because deep down I was still hoping he would come around...
