Snow. I really hate snow! I love sitting in a couch with a hot cup of tea and a warm blanket, and watch the snow slowly cover the earth. You know, the romantic picture of winter. But chasing criminals through the snow is the exact opposite! Cold air turning your face numb, and ice on the sidewalks making sure you'll hit the ground more than a couple of times!

It's been a half year since I moved in with the Garrets, and the City now called Kid Flash and me for its protectors. It felt great to be appreciated and looked up to. Once I even heard a little girl tell her mother, that she wanted to be just like me! It felt amazing!

I was waiting outside the police station, and I was frizzing my ass of in the cold. The fastest boy alive had promised me to pick me up here. I had just delivered two smugglers, and he was out doing some "errands", what he meant with errands, I had no idea. What I did know, was that he should hurry. He didn't feel the cold as normal people do. His body and everything in it works so fast, that he didn't get cold in this weather.

I saw him coming from far away, because of the snow that he swirled up behind him. He stopped right in front of me. He was smiling and clearly enjoyed seeing me shaking in the cold.

KF: "Enjoying the snow?"

I rolled my eyes at him, and he laid his warm hands on my cold cheeks.

KF: "You're so sweet, when you're irritated."

He kissed me, and the warmth spread all the way to my feet.

J: "Who smuggle drugs on the 24th December?"

He smiled.

KF: "Come on. Joan has prepared the food."

He lifted me up and flashed away. I turned my face and faced his chest, because the cold air hit my face like a fist. My stomach was hurting, and I had been looking forward to taste Joans Christmas meal the whole month! We arrived at the house shortly after, and Joan meet us in the door.

Joan: "Merry Christmas!"

KF: "Merry Christmas dear Joan."

He hugged her, and then she hugged me. She was so incredibly sweet!

Joan: "Come quickly! Food is almost ready."

We followed her inside. Jay was sitting in the living room and watched Christmas cartoons. Wally flashed over to him and sat down beside him.

KF: "It started already?!"

Jay: "No, no, no! The good one is still to come!"

I smiled. They were so sweet all of them. A real family. I walked up the stairs and entered my room to change my cloth. I threw the dirty cloth on the bed and opened the closet. I found the tick red dress Joan had bought for me. It had long sleeves and stopped at my knees. I got dressed and walked over to my mirror.

I had finally finished decorating the room with pictures, drawings, pillows and blankets. My favorite picture was a picture of Wally and me. He was carrying me around on his back, and he was flashing around the backyard. I smiled just thinking about it. I liked the room now, it felt like home.

I picked up my brush and tried to fix my hair. I didn't hear the door open, so I didn't notice him, until he coughed. I turned around, and Wally was leaning against the doorframe. He was smiling. That characteristic Kid Flash smile.

J: "I thought you were watching cartoons."

KF: "I wanted to show you, what I have bought."

He lifted his hand, and he was holding a mistletoe. I had to laugh. It was just such a sweet thought. He slowly walked towards me.

KF: "This is deadly serious! I want to give it to Jay and Joan, but what if it doesn't work?"

J: "No, we couldn't have that!"

KF: "Just what I thought. I think we would do them a favor to test it first."

I smiled, and he stood right in front of me. He hold the mistletoe over his head, and he had that glimpse in his eyes. I leaned in and he closed his eyes. I almost kissed him, but I stopped and stretched up and kissed his forehead. I turned around and smiled to him in the mirror. He looked surprised, but then he smiled.

He laid his arm around my waist and kissed my neck. I leaned my head against him, and his kisses follow my neck to my ear and then turned direction towards my cheek. He turned me around and kissed me on the mouth. Time froze and my cheeks turned red. He broke it off and we both smiled. He leaned in for another kiss, and I closed my eyes. But then Joan yelled downstairs.

He kissed my forehead, and we walked down to her. Joan meet us on the stairs. She was wearing a big smile.

Joan: "You'll never guess, who chose to stop by Wally!"

Wally looked confused.

KF: "Is it Robin?"

Joan: "No. You need to see for yourself."

We followed her into the living room. Wally was holding my hand and I hold him back from flashing in there. We walked into the living room, and I lost my breath when I saw him. In the living room a tall, strong man stood wearing a completely red costume with a yellow lightning on his chest. IT WAS THE FLASH! The real Flash! From the Justice League. I was speechless.

And I wasn't the only one. Wally dropped his jaw, and looked shocked. Then he quickly straightened up.

Flash: "Hello Kid Flash, good to see you."

KF: "Flash. Long time no see."

They awkward silence spread, and they started to measure each other with the eyes.

Flash: "I haven't heard from you."

KF: "I know."

I gave his hand a squeeze, and he took a deep breath.

KF: "How is Central City."

Flash: "As always. Busy but nothing I can't handle."

KF: "That's not how I remember it."

Flash looked offended.

Flash: "Well you wouldn't know, you ran off."

Wally took a step forward and so did Flash.

KF: "You pushed me away!"

Flash: "You pushed yourself away!"

Both had their fists clenched, and the mood wasn't going to change. Wally made a false laughter.

KF: "Of course! It's never your fault. The great Flash never fail!"

Flash: "Watch your mouth young man!"

This was going to be a perfect Christmas!
