(4) Bed Rest

Since I'm on bed rest I called out sick for today and made sure I had no patients. My parents are still here and is supposed to be staying for another month. My parents took the kids to school for me, since I told them I'm sick. I couldn't tell them the real reason so I just told them I was fucking sick! Christopher had to go back to work today and I'm glad. I don't have to be interrogated by anyone today. This morning we didn't say one word to each other. Even though I do feel guilty about making a big decision by myself, like the one I done yesterday. I didn't want to be bored so I decided to text Lexi to ask if she can come.

-Me:
Hey Lexi can you come over?

-Lexi:
Hey babes! And yes I can. Give me 20 minutes.

-Me:
Ok

Lexi finally came and we were up in me and Chris's bed talking,watching tv, and eating the food that she brought over in her way here. I needed to tell her about my decision I've made to get her opinion on it. But I also didn't want to be judged.

"Lexi I have something to tell you and please don't be mad at me when I tell you."

"It depends on what it is,bit tell me."

"Well, Chris has been wanting to have another child. And I don't think there's a need for one. So I started taking birth control."

"Well that's not so bad. You need to tell him how you feel though."

"I did! Plenty of times before. He even has my parents on his side. And I didn't even tell you the bad part." Her eyebrows raised.

"Tell me now!" She rushed.

"Ok I lost my birth control and me and Chris had sex. So I got pregnant-"

"Wait so your pregnant!?" She interrupted.

"If you would've let me finish I'll tell you!" She nodded. "So I went to the doctor and I got an abortion."

She laughed a little and paused. "Did you just say abortion? I nodded and she punched me in my arm. "Are you fucking serious! You killed an innocent life,your selfish Teanna!" She got off the bed and I followed.

"We're not ready to be parents! Why can't anyone understand that!? He's barely even home!"

"I get where your coming from,but it's his child too. He needs to know. So you think about what I said!" She said while leaving out my room.

Once again I was left to myself. But it was time for the kids to be getting home from the bus. So I went downstairs and got their snacks ready. I heard the front door open and their loud voices coming into the kitchen.

"Hey babies, I missed you guy's." I kissed all of them.

"We missed you too" They said while going to the table for their snacks.

"Mama." Loghan called out.

"Yes baby?" I asked sitting down in the chair and getting on my IPad.

"Will you,daddy,and Chris will be able to come to my soccer game this Thursday?" She asked with a mouth full of food.

"Chew your food,What I told you about that? And yes baby you know I'm coming,but I don't know about Chris." She frowned a little. "Just ask Loghan and see."

The rest of the day I spent with my kids fooling around. It was getting close to 7:50 and Chris still wasn't home yet. I just find it funny how your always the one to come home late and never let anyone know your coming late. But I never say anything to him about it. After fixing dinner for everyone and getting the kids ready for bed, I decided to get in bed and wait for Chris. I heard the alarm go off letting me know someone entered the house, I figured it was him. And my guesses were right. He came in the room and glanced at me and went into his closet and started undressing.

"Where have you been?" I asked at he came out. He looked at me and smirked. I'm trying to figure out what in the hell was funny. "Are you going to tell me?"

"No, it's my business remember. I'm a grown man and can do whatever I please."

"No your a married man." He mumbled something under his breath while walking into the bathroom. "Excuse me!?" I heard the shower running. I rolled my eyes and turned over and closed my eyes.
