I heard rustling and when I opened my eyes I was in a hotel room, different looking from the hotel we were just staying at. I looked around and saw Alilith was next to me still in her swimsuit and tee, I sat up from the ground and rubbed my head.

"Yes we are asking two million, no less." I saw the man from earlier walk in with a phone up to his ear, when he saw I was awake he smiled. "Two million in 24 hours or they are dead." He dropped the phone from his ear and took the chip out; crushing it. "Morning." He pulled out a chair from the desk and sat down facing me. "How are you feeling?" I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate but it was impossible. "Still have the medicine in your system? It should wear off in an hour, we don't want you missing all the fun."

"You want ransom money?" I let my voice come out softly.

"Yes, those One Direction boys are impossible to get to. Now Wayward isn't that famous but I know those boys care about you girls so we will be making profit out of this." I tried opening my eyes but they kept getting heavier and heavier. "Lay back down, today is going to be a long one." I slowly laid back down and drifted off.

"Haddi, Haddi!" Someone kept poking me, I groaned and sat up. Alilith was next to me pulling me to stand up.

"What."

"We have to go, they are going to cut a finger or ear off soon. I've seen the movies and this doesn't end well in Taken." I giggled and Alilith shushed me.

"Wake up, let's go!" I shook my head and tried to keep up with her pace, as we ran down a hall Alilith looked down both ways. She motioned to the right and we crept down it, as we approached a door that looked like the exit we heard voices.

"They are willing to pay four million for two dumb girls, which is what I am looking for." Alilith shoved me into a closet and quietly closed it behind her. We waited until the voices disappeared to peek out, assuming it was clear we walked out and went for the door. As Alilith opened the door an alarm went off, she grabbed my hand and we booked it down the hotel hall. The hall was to long for us to run down it before someone sees us so we ducked under a maid cart and let the cloth cover the sides. I heard footsteps and men yelling, I looked at Alilith and shook my head. As the footsteps faded I frowned at her.

"When I wanted to become famous I never pictured being kidnapped and held for ransom as one of the pros, or cons!" I whispered harshly and she rolled her eyes.

"Well Kira did once, she wanted us to become so famous everyone would want to steal us. She said it builds character and makes fun stories to tell the grand kids." I went to talk when the head man started to talk.

"Girls come out! You were about to be brought back, this is a dumb thing to do." I watched Alilith as she contemplated what to do. "We weren't going to hurt you, just wanted to get a little extra cash." I waited to see if he would speak again but it was silent, Alilith froze and slowly rose her finger to her mouth. I kept as still as possible, as the silence grew I became worried. A phone started ringing and I opened my mouth to let out a gasp out of surprise when Alilith shoved a used towel in my mouth. "I'll find them, they couldn't have gotte-" it got silent until he spoke up again. "Far." I heard a beep and an IPhone close, Alilith pointed to the left side of the cart and slipped out. As I went to slide out the cart was pushed forward, I heard a umph and I fell out, I sat up and heard the guy laugh. He smirked down the hall where Alilith ran off to and back at me, I froze. He gave the cart a light shove and walked over to me, He squatted down and pulled the towel out of my mouth. "Looks like we are down to one until we find your friend." He grabbed my arm violently and pulled me up, I winced and looked behind me to see an empty hallway. I hope she gets out, and gets help so the boys won't have to pay millions for one girl back. We walked into a room and he set my on the edge of the bed, I started to look around when I heard a huge growl. My nose scrunched up as I looked down at my stomach. "Are you hungry?" I shook my head and my stomach growled again. "I'll get you a granola bar or something." He stood up and started to walk out, he looked over his shoulder and pulled out his gun. "Run again and I will not hesitate to shoot." I nodded and watched him close the door and lock it, I sighed and rubbed my face. Think, I am not helpless I am a smart girl. I walked over to the window and pulled the drapes back to reveal that we were still in the same city, Chicago. How in the world are they going to find us in a city this big, I noticed the iron bars along the window and groaned. Of course, why would it have been easy.

I closed them back up and started pacing, okay so these people want money. If they kill us they don't get the money, if we are hurt or not well they don't get the money. So they need us, that means I have a little room to be risky. Well, not too much room anymore after the escape fail. I heard the door open and close, I stood up thinking it was the same man but another walked in. He was taller than the other guy and had blond hair, I quickly sat back down and watched him walk towards me. He narrowed his eyes and handed me a fruit snack and a Capri sun, I reached out and grabbed them. He took a couple steps back and sat down at the desk, he waved towards the food and I looked down at it. Was he going to sit there and watch me eat? Who is this guy?

"Maybe I over estimated you, here." He stood up and grabbed the Capri sun, grabbing the straw and stabbing it through. "Okay, gave me the fruit snacks." I watched him open the fruit snacks and set them on my lap. "Now can you eat by yourself?" I nodded, he sat back and kept his eyes on me. I grabbed a fruit snack and popped it into my mouth. " I knew you could do it on your own." He smiled at me and stood up. "Now I am going to be right outside the door, just yell if you need anything." I opened my mouth but he held up a hand. " No you can not leave." He quietly walked out and I heard the door lock, I picked up the juice and frowned. I stood up and slowly walked over to the door, keeping my steps as light as possible. As I got closer to it I heard nothing. "What are you doing?" I froze just as my hand had touched the door knob. " You aren't very sneaky."

"I wasn't trying to be." I let my voice out nice and soft, I shouldn't be making any more enemies.

"The doors locked."

"I was assuming so." I waited but heard no movement outside.

"Looks like your friend escaped, that means we now need to pry more money from your little boy band." Yes! Now she can get the police and I can get out of here!

"Or you could be nice and safely hand me back to them out of the kindness of your heart?" It's worth a shot.

"You do understand I could kill you and I would never get caught?" I quietly sat down on the carpet, facing towards the door.

" I know."

"And most people wouldn't even know you'd be dead." I could tell he was right on the other side of the door, because I could hear him clearly.

"Yeah, I've figured." My voice was quiet, as I looked down at my hands the door flew open. I jumped and glanced up to see the blonde man staring down at me.

"You realize that I can shove this bullet straight through your skull and not one soul would care?" His tone was aggressive and he took a step into the room.

"Why would they." My voice was nonchalant, I scooted back a little bit and watched him stare at me. I could see anger hinting on his face.

"What is wrong with you!" I jumped at his sudden outburst. "Of course people would care! It's not like you've walked on this planet and not impacted someone's life!"

"No, I've kept to myself. I've seen people live without me, so it's fine." Blondie grabbed me by the arm and stood me up.

"I've only just met you, and I can tell you mean something to someone." I kept my cool as he leaned in and watched me. "Do you want to die?"

"Good question." I could tell I was irritating him.

"What's your name?"

"Haddi." He loosened his grip and pushed me back, I fell into the bed and watched him start to pace.

"Haddi, tell me about your childhood."
