Love?

~Joely's POV~

Its been a week since me and Hailey have joined DWMA. We've met the whole gang and we've gotten pretty close. Every day has been close to chaotic. Why? Well, Hailey decided to keep the cat that ate me and Kid! That was horrible!  It tends to go on mini rampages and only Hailey can stop him! Even crazier, Hailey keeps talking to the cat. The cat seems to understand her. Its a bit weird. But, she seems to really love the thing.

"Joely! Hurry up or we're gonna be late!"

Hailey yelled while pounding on my door.

"Don't rush me! My outfit-"

My door burst open. Hailey stood there with her arms crossed.

"You're outfit must be perfectly symmetrical. I get it. Your trying to impress Kid!"

"Am not!"

She rolled her eyes and left. Leaving the door open.

"Close the door!"

She didn't answer, or come back.

~One hour later~(In Sponge bob narrator voice)

"I am not getting on that thing."

I said as I looked at Hailey. She was trying to get me to ride on Thunder.

"Come on! Thunder won't let us fall. I've done this a million times!"

"I don't care!"

I crossed my arms and glared at her.

"You could impress Kid.~"

I stopped glaring. She must have sensed my mind change, because she held out her hand. Next thing I know I'm on Thunder's back.

"Hold on tight."

"Why?"

Thunder took off. I shrieked and wrapped my arms around Hailey.

"I told you to hold on!" She yelled.

"Shut up!"

~Blackstar's POV~

I crouched on one of the academy's big red spikes. Why? I was waiting for my best friend that's a girl. Hailey. I don't know what it is about that girl, but I just really want to see her. All the time.  I saw Thunder running up the stairs a few minutes later. Hailey and Joely on his back. They stopped at the top of the stairs.

Crack 

My eyes widened.

"Crap."

The spike broke and I fell.

~Kid's POV~

I walked out of the academy with Liz and Patti.

"I wonder if Hailey wants to play!" Patti practically screamed.

"I don't know, Patti. She doesn't seem to like to play with toys."

"No way! In class yesterday she helped me beat up the giraffe!"

She acted like she was breaking its neck. Liz smiled and rolled her eyes.

"She won't even let  me paint her nails. Its a shame she doesn't take care of them. She could have such pretty hands."

Crack

I heard somebody scream. I looked up and saw the tip of one of the pikes falling.

"NO!!!!"

I ran towards the spike and noticed Blackstar  laying face down next to it.
