A Dance, Something Special, and a question

~Joely's POV~

We walked up the academy's steps. Well, the boys carried us miesters and we held our weapons and they held their weapons. Although Soul carried Maka and Blackstar carried Tsubaki. Tsubaki had a triumphant smile on her face.

"Hailey?"

She didn't answer or show her reflection. I sighed. Something was wrong.

"Everything okay my Joely-cake?" Kid asked and gently squeezed my thighs.

I giggled. "All good."

After what felt like an eternity we finally reached the top. Everyone was set down and transformed. Everyone except Hailey.

"Hailey?"

She didn't answer.

"What's wrong?"

After a second her reflection appeared. Her face contorted with worry.

"What if I don't look as good as the other girls? What if they make fun of me? What if-"

"Enough what if's. You look freaking fantastic and if someone gives you a hard time I'll sock'em."

I held my fist up to prove my point. She smiled and transformed. Her dress catching the light perfectly. Making her look as though she was made of stars and sparkly things. I grinned. Just what I was planning for it to do.

"Let's get this party started!!" Patti yelled.

Liz laughed and Tsubaki quietly agreed. Maka and Soul left a while ago. Patti grabbed Hailey and ran. All we saw was a blur of giraffe and blue.

"We should pro-"

"DON'T LEAVE YOUR GOD!!!!!!" Blackstar cut me off and charged after Hailey.

I glanced at Kid and we shrugged. Once we got inside my jaw fell. It looked like we were actually under water. The ceiling and walls gave the illusion of water reflections. Holographic fish swam here and there. Paper mache seaweed stuck up in one corner. A table filled with food lined one wall.

"Its incredible." Liz whispered breathlessly.

"Hello there," A tall brown haired guy in a deep blue suit came up to Liz. "Can I ask this stunning lady if she'll dine with me?"

Liz blushed and took his extended hand.

"Of course my good sir."

They burst out laughing as they walked towards the food. Patti ran off somewhere with Tsubaki, so it was just me and Kid. Alone. At a dance. Alone.

"Are you ready Joely?" Kid asked and grabbed my hand.

"Yeah," I grabbed his hand. "Let's give Hailey the night of her life.

~Blackstar's POV~

I stared at the table filled with food. It was.... AWESOME!!! Well, not as awesome as me, but still awesome.

"I've never seen so much food."

I jumped and face planted into a pie. So not my awesome self. I quickly jumped up and turned towards my-

"Hailey!?"

She was trying so hard not to laugh. It was way to obvious. Then, she burst into laughter.

"This is probably the first time I've ever seen anyone scare you! That someone being ME is pretty amazing!"

I'll admit it. Whenever I'm around her I'm not like my usual godly self. I stutter, I think before I say stuff, heck I even went to Kid for advice on my clothes. This girl does some weird stuff to me.
