"Memories warm you up from the inside. But they also tear you apart."

"The  Harry Styles? As in, your childhood crush Harry? Your brother's old best friend Harry? As in Harry-" I cut off Tammy before she can say anything more to make me cringe as much as I am currently. She looks at me from across our table and winces, shooting me a look of empathy. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bring it up."

I shake my head dismissing her apology as it wasn't needed, it wasn't her fault. It's been 24 hours since my little encounter if you'd call it, with the man himself. I ran out of that building faster than I've ever ran and my mother was not pleased that I took her precious costume with me as I didn't even think of changing.

I hid from everyone in my apartment and when morning came I called Tammy, the only other human (Apart from myself) that knows every single bit of dirt on me. So that leads to now, both of us sitting in my favourite cafe near Times Square. I often come here to read my books and study, that is whenever I have the time.

"I just cannot believe he is here, right before my eyes. I remember the day he left like it was yesterday, it broke me, I mean can you blame me? I was seventeen Tammy." I groan, swirling the teaspoon in my teacup.

Tammy shakes her head, watching the busy streets of New York. "5 years go by don't they?" She gives me a pointed look after turning away from the crowds of people.

"They do." I sigh, looking down at the perfectly folded napkin in my lap, so white and crisp as if just pressed by an iron.

Harry Styles, a boy who took my heart as a little girl. I used to watch him play with Klaus on his new Play Station. I also used to attend all their soccer games when they played the sport together. I remember gushing at Harry as he scored goal after goal. He was really good.

After years and years of friendship between the two. He moved away to England when he was 19 and we never heard from him again. At least I didn't but it seemed like Klaus kept in touch.

My feelings for Harry are long gone, it was a stupid crush that a little kid had on her brother's best friend. Typical.

"It doesn't matter anymore I don't love him, I never did. After all it was just a stupid crush." I declare strongly before taking a sip of my tea that's been cold for awhile yet still satisfying.

Tammy laughs, shaking her head. "You are incredibly dramatic you know that? What's the harm of him being here anyway? He's not gonna ask you to marry him."

I shoot her a look, "Yeah but it's the fact that he's here! In New York!"

Tammy crosses her hands over her folded legs. "So? What's he gonna do? He's gonna be here for business reasons most likely, you know he's very successful."

She was right. Harry is successful. He is a great architect, he's responsible for a lot of major buildings that will be developed in the future. His name is only beginning its flight to fame, he's been recognised as the youngest architect to reach such a great milestone in the business.
