The day that school decides to end is also the day Jack starts to avoid me. Usually after a one-night-stand the person never sees the other person again but if they do it's super awkward. That's my situation right now. Something tells me I won't spend the summer without seeing him since Joe and I need to get together for gigs some time or other. Realistically I should really talk to him and ease him out of his shell and release him into society like a snail, except he doesn't look like a snail. I would say he looks a little like a meerkat with his long features (yes, including his dick.)
After finding about my not-so-gay-ness, I figured that I didn't let a valuable person go, but still, I make the decision to drink away the memories of last night.

I enter the bar, conveniently named 'drink it away.' I heard some townsfolk wanted to re-name it because they thought it would become a bad influence on impressionable teenagers, and of course, it seemed to work for 16-year-old me. Here in Maryland and in most states in the U.S. You're not allowed to drink until you're 21, but there are some shifty places, that are more like alleyways, where you can grab a fake ID like mine and joe's.  I know Joe has one because he set me up with this guy, who I'm pretty sure deals a helluva lot of things, gave us our fake ID and then got the hell out. It's pretty obvious that he's on the run. Frankly, I would be running from the authorities if I sold people shit like that.
The door swings open, and my attention flies over to Joe and about 5 others. He looks over at me and nods, and I raise my hand at him in return. Following the tall lanky guy, was a slightly smaller lanky guy; Jack. He looks at me but doesn't smile, and neither did I. We both just stare at each other without saying a word trying to read what's in the other's eyes. I study his face for a moment, his eyes are somewhat red and inflated, his hair is stuck to his forehead and slightly damp, with him he was carrying a bag. I suspect that those were his ballet clothes, of course, he does his shoes almost every day after school. He eventually moves over to where Joe and the gang were sitting around a table for 'a manly pint' I overhear their conversation about how they don't want jack to ruin their evening so I take action and do what I'm supposed to do.
