Hi guys, so I have chapter 6-9 done on my computer and I thought I would go ahead and post it for you.
Love y'all!

I hugged my dad against me as he wrapped his arms around me. He sighed and kissed my head. It was nearly dawn and Dad and Tanya had just gotten done packing. I had walked in on him and Tanya and Sebastian talking about something quietly. I assumed it was about me because as soon as they saw me, they hushed up and Tonya and Sebastian excused themselves.
"What about her mother?" Tonya had asked him. "Was she..."
"No." dad had answered with a sigh. "I knew... from the beginning..." that was when Dad saw me standing in the doorway. "Baby Girl?" he stood up from his place at the table and came over to me. He looked at me worriedly as he took my face in his hands. "You're burning up." He whispered as Tanya and Sebastian quietly left saying they had things to do. "How are you feeling?"
"Sore." I shrugged. "Like everyone thinks I am slightly crazy now, and I have this strange feeling in my stomach that possesses something that likes growling at me. I think It's hungry." He chuckled and pulled me into a hug...
"I love you Baby Girl." He mumbled into my hair as we continued to stand there in the embrace.
"I love you too Daddy." I whispered into his chest. "When do you leave?" he was quiet a moment before answering.
"About an hour." He answered and I nodded. "It's okay Sam. In about two weeks you will be there with us, safe from all this here." I nodded again, not trusting my voice to not crack and betray my weakness. Instead, my stomach showed its weakness and growled. It was loud enough that Deric heard it as he walked up behind me and started laughing. So did Dad as he pulled back and kissed my forehead before (as if realizing it was Deric who had laughed) he stopped laughing and looked at Deric as he went into the kitchen and started grabbing things so that he could...
Cook?
Did he know how to cook?
If he does, then the man just became super, super, SUPER hot. Said Lana and I laughed with agreement. If he could cook then he had certainly made it onto me top ten. Top five sweetheart. You don't have ten. I rolled my eyes but sighed. I knew she was right.
"Stop talking to yourself Sam, it's weird." I glared at Deric as he glanced over his shoulder at me. He smirked and my eyes narrowed. "Sit down. What do you want to eat?"
"I don't think I want you to cook me anything. You might poison me." I said but I sat down in one of the chairs as Dad left the room. I knew that Deric wouldn't. He was here to protect me. It would be very counterproductive for him to poison me if he was trying to protect me.
Then again, stranger things have happened.
He looked at me a moment and I looked into his eyes, but quickly looked away as I tried to hide the shiver that ran down my spine. It didn't work well, so I tried to play it off as I was cold, which I kind of was. I ran my hands over my arms and then quickly pulled my fractured hand away from my arm. "Ow." I mumbled and stood up. I went over to the counter where we kept all the medicine and looked for the ibuprofen.
"Your medicine is right here." Deric said as his arm reached past my face, startling me into baking into him. His arm wrapped around my waist, as if on instinct, and I breathed shakily as he held me there a second and then stepped back. I swallowed and then turned around to look at him. "Sorry." He looked at the bottle of medicine in his hand instead of me, a strange look on his face, and then handed it to me as he looked up. Slowly, I took my medicine and set it on the counter. "I didn't mean to startle you." I nodded, avoiding his eyes now, and continued looking for the ibuprofen.
