Hehe!!
Okay, so I may do a little editing on this one later, but here is chapter 16!!
__________
"Sam-" Deric started as I glanced over his shoulder at his sister/daughter, but I stopped him before he could go on. I didn't want to hear it. Not now. Not now that she was here in front of me. Sure, he was trying to explain, but I didn't have it in me to hear what he wanted to say about it right now. It was just too much.
"When was I supposed to find out about this?" I breathed as I looked back at Deric. I pulled away and he looked so hurt, but I couldn't stop the small pang of jealousy and anger that I didn't understand. "When were you going to tell me about her?"
"Now." He told me. He moved forward to touch me again, but I moved away. He sighed and lowered his hand back to his side. I didn't want to move away, in fact, it took all of my willpower not to let him take me into his arms and hold me and explain this craziness, but I could be just as stubborn as Andy sometimes, even worse, and right now, that is what I wanted to be. "I told her to meet us here, before we left so I could introduce you two. I didn't know that she would imprint on your brother!" his voice grew louder and angry as he said that last sen-tence and I flinched.
"What?" I scowled again. I looked at Sebastian, who was watching her quietly with an expression I had never seen him wear. It was almost as if he was looking at her with awe or.... I really didn't know what it was. It was a strange look and I didn't really understand what that meant. I mean, I knew what imprinting meant, but at the same time, I didn't know anything about it. Is that what happened with Deric and I? Is that what it meant when he said that I was his mate?
Is that how I look at Deric when he is around?
"Let's put it in simple terms for her." Muttered the girl and I really didn't like her atti-tude at all. The way she looked at me right now, spilled hate, and I was sure that it was the full moon tomorrow, like with Andy, that was the reason for at least some of that, but still, unless someone explained that to me, I did not want to think about her even being friends with my brother. "I am a werewolf and your broth-er, is my mate." So that's what it really meant. I had imprinted with Deric...
And I had no idea what that really meant.
"Forgive her. " Deric sighed and ran his hand through his hair. I just looked at him. "Tomorrow night is full moon. She's not the most pleasant werewolf to talk to around this time. She's not always like this."
Okay, fine, but that still doesn't give her the right to hate someone she doesn't know at all, let alone her Dad/Brother's mate.
I looked at her and her...
Well... disapproving look.
She looked like she absolutely hated me and, as I said, I wasn't too fond of her right now.
I sighed. I knew that there was nothing I could do about it right now—or ever for that matter—so I wasn't even going to try. There was no point. My brother was now mated to a woman who hates my guts and I was mated to her broth-er/father. I still wasn't sure how much I liked the fact that he had one, his or not, but I couldn't help it. I wasn't in control of it.
"Stop staring at her Sebastian." I whispered and moved toward the car. I looked down at the ground as I started passing, but she grabbed my arm. I didn't look at her, just stood there looking at the ground, waiting for her whatever she was go-ing to say or do. She laughed bitterly and I flinched.
"She's pathetic Daddy." She said and I closed my eyes. "She is really skinny, mal-nourished. She looks like she has been beat nearly to death."
"Dear Camille." I breathed shakily as I heard Deric's father's voice, and even though I knew he would be close, he still had me a little scared and I knew that he knew that. "That is because she was beaten nearly to death. I did throw her out a two story window. She was also bitten and nearly turned into a zombified blood bag." She laughed again and let go of my arm. What surprised me, was that Sebastian wrapped his arms around my shoulders and moved me toward the car again. I really wanted to leave right now.
