As I walked around backstage many people complimented me on my debut match, saying I did very well and they hoped to see what else I could do. I walk into one of the various TV rooms, and Mark is sitting there watching the show intensely.
"Hey." I greet him kindly, interrupting his later focus gaze on the television.
"That match was phenomenal, we all were right about you two putting on some amazing matches. I've already gotten the ball rolling for what's next. You just need to be prepared for a match tomorrow against April, and next Monday you will get a chance to sit down and talk on Pipers Pit." He informs.
"Wait, seriously? Me?" I question confused.
"Yes, you." He clarifies. I smile brightly.
"Oh, I'm not sure if you've received your schedule yet..." He starts. I nod my head, I got it earlier today.
"So, you know about the flying to California with The Shield, Randy and Saraya?" He asks me. Double checking that everything is set.
"Plenty aware." I say with a nod. Leaving at 12. This would mark my first media appearance as apart of the main roster.
As I'm walking to the locker room Randy comes into sight.
"Hey, want to hang out later? After my match? Since we've all gotta go together I think if makes sense we're all responsible for one person." He says with a slight nod.
"It sounds like fun, I'm down." I say. He nods his head.
"Well, my match is next, so I'll see ya in a bit." He informs.
"Go get em Champ, I'll be watching." I tell him, small smile evident on my face.
"Well, you did perfect in your match. Hopefully, I can top that performance." He says. I roll my eyes as he walks away. What a flirt.
"You did a good job out there tonight kiddo." Jon says as he comes into view.
"Well, thanks. I try." I state. Renee walks over and smiles at the two of us.
"Hey guys!" She says.
"Hey, how are you?" I ask her. She shrugs.
"It's Raw, so it's a good day." She answers back.
"Well, on that note. I'm gonna go change, and shower. See you guys later." I say before walking away from the cute couple.
I showered, then put on a casual dress and a pair of converse. As I'm placing my gear in my bag Saraya walks over.
"Hey, so word is you're joking us for media in Cali." She says. I nod my head.
"You wanna hang out now? We can go get food." She suggests. Eyebrows raised.
"I mean, I'm supposed to be hanging out with Randy after his match." I reply as I spray a bit of perfume before putting it in my bag.
"Do I smell romance?" She asks with a huge smile.
"What you smell is perfume." I deadpan. She laughs lightly.
"No, what I mean is are you guys an item?" She asks. I shrug.
"I've been here one day." I state with disbelief.
"I'll help make things easier for the two of you then." She starts. She pulls her phone out and opens twitter.
@RealPaigeWWE: sooo, thoughts on @AlexisLawlerWWE and @RandyOrton ? Asking for a friend...
"I hate you." I say with the roll of my eyes. She laughs.
"Step in line babygirl. How's first day treating ya?" She inquires. I shrug.
"Not terrible."
"Hey! You want to meet John?" She suggests.
"Cena?" I question, hoping for clarification.
"Yeah! It'll be fun!" She replies. I shrug.
"Why not,"
"To catering then!" She says happily, skipping out the room. Pulling me with her. We found him talking with Stu. Someone I knew fairly decently. He was down in NXT a good amount. He worked with me a lot and pushed me to my limit. As much as I hated it, I also admired him for it. They smiled at us.
"New Diva." John says with a nod.
"That's me." I say with a nod.
"Jerry's Daughter." Stu says.
"So, this is who everyone is talking about." He says with a nod.
"Always with the wrong guys I see." He jokes as he nods at Saraya. I roll my eyes. After a few moments of silence, I could fairly hear Joes music playing in the background. Indicating that he beat Randy.
