I walked out to the stage where two people were. Mr. McMahon and Paul. I smile at them. They let me go and I read off. "Really good. I like it." Vince says while Paul nods. "So, that's what 5 days brought you. It's very well thought out." Paul says teasing me. "Thank you." I say before going off stage and going back to the hotel. Now to fix my hair and makeup with Paige. It took us forever to actually finish, but I was impressed with myself and Paige afterwards.
"Little girls have big dreams, there's those that want to be princesses, there's those that want to be president, and then there are those girls that just want to kick some ass. Alundra Blayze was a woman ahead of her time. She is dominant, and beautiful. She didn't prescribe to the nation that woman has to compete in their underwear, but she looked damn good in a bikini. Built in the front. Stacked in the back. When Alundra walked through the curtain. 3x WWE woman's champion. She showed up to fight l. She was also a revolutionary. One iconic act of defiance, would change the history of sports entertainment forever. When Alundra Blayze took her WWE woman's championship and threw it in the trash. On WCW TV. This moment was etched in time as what was part of the start if what we all know now as the Monday Night War. The gloves came off. The gauntlet was thrown and it was really one courageous act from this woman. That started something; started a revolution. When I first found out that I was gonna be inducting Alundra Blayze. I put off writing this till the last moment. Then I rushed and had to call up Arnold Anderson. I'm so glad I did because I have an awesome story and I hope Arn won't be mad at me for telling this. So when Alundra worked in the WWE. She was backstage and she was working on a promo and like all of us Divas. She was a perfectionist. Probably worked on it 5, 10, 15. Okay let's just say 20 takes. So Arn was waiting behind her. Waiting to cut his promo and damnit. He has a promo to cut and a workout to do. He was ready to go. Well Alundra, she wasn't having it and basically, the story ends with the enforcer Arn Anderson running for his life. With a scared look on his face. Like a timid dog. Alundra was running after him with her heels in her hand, wasn't she? And it's those moments that really really make me proud to be inducting this very very special woman. There's a quite by Randy Posh in the book the last lecture. He says 'the brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. They are there to stop the other people.' ladies and gentlemen, WWE universe. Please let me introduce to you. The woman who never let a brick wall stand in her way. The diva who changed the course of sports entertainment forever and the only woman in the world who Arn Anderson is afraid of. Please welcome your 2015 WWE Hall of Famer. Alundra Blayze." I say before walking off to the back. Halfway through the speech I was back to give her the trash can. Where she'd take out the Woman's title. When all that was over with I was leaving with Randy when Tom stopped me. He is standing next to Alex. "Your still on the preshow panel right?" He asks. "Yeah." I say. "We are doing a run through when we all get there around 9 or so. Just like our outline and stuff. Shouldn't take long." He says. "Oh alright cool." I say. He nods and I walk away. We get to the car and Randy says "I've got a present." "Oh really." I say uninterested. "Yeah, and your not saying no. I got it because I know you like Rose gold and it was nice." He says handing me a box. I open it and see a watch. It's a nice watch. "Thanks babe." I say before planting a kiss on his cheek. We finally get to the hotel and I get out of my dress and makeup. I put on sweats and Randy makes popcorn. It was healthy popcorn, so sadly it wasn't great. We flipped on the WWE network to last year's Wrestlemania. Paul and Stephanie walked in and went to their side of the room. "I'll be back. I forgot my phone in the car." I say realizing. I grab the keys and go out to my car. In the loby Eric and Jon are chatting. Jon and I still hadn't talked since the whole incident with Colby. I wasn't going over there. I went to the car and grabbed my phone and Eric stopped me now all alone. "What are doing out here all alone?" He asks. "Grabbing my phone." I state. "Well, I got you a cupcake." He says handing me a container about as big as my head. "All this is a cupcake?" I ask. "Yeah, well. Bill helped me pick it out. Said go big or go home." He says. "That makes more sense. Thank you." I say wrapping my arms around his neck for a moment. "No problem. Happy birthday." He says. "Thanks. I'll see ya tomorrow or something." I say. "Okay." He says. I grab my phone, keys and my container and go to our room. I walk in and all the lights in the room are on and everyone is in the kitchen with Vince. I set my container on the counter and the keys where they belong. "What's in the container?" Paul asks. "A cupcake from Cass and Eric." I say. "That's gonna last you a week." Stephanie says. "And a life time of diabetes." I say. She smiles and Vince says "Happy Birthday." I smile. "Thank you." I say. He nods with a smirk. "Well, that was really all I needed to talk to you about." Vince says excusing himself from our group.
