"Do you really have to go?."
"If you keep saying this every time I go, then you will make it harder for me to leave. You know that I don't want to leave you right?."

Lowering my head and avoiding dad's eyes, I apologized.
"Sorry."

He put his big hand on my head, ruffling my h/c hair.
"Look out for our next meeting. I will teach you a new technique that you could take down anyone who is much bigger than you."

Lifting my head with a small smile to meet dad's sapphire eyes, as he is giving me a toothy grin.

"I will then."
"That's my girl!." He turned around to leave when he turned back again to face me.

"Before I leave, let me make this clear. Do NOT let that shrimp gets you in trouble allright?."
"I told you it wasn't his fault. I didn't even get hurt."

He frowned dissatisfied "I do not care Y/n. Last time you were lucky, but who knows what could happen next. Be careful."
"Yes."

"Come on Degenhard. You have to go now." Mom smiled and put her hand on my shoulders from behind.
"Right." he pulled his goggles over his eyes.

He turned again and walked to the front door and we followed him.

"Take care dad."
"I will."
"Please come back home in one piece." whispered mom with a worried face. Dad put his hand on top of her hair and ruffled it a little like how he did to me, giving her a warm smile.
"I will try my best Aili."

I watched as my father disappeared from our sight. Letting out a sigh of dissatisfaction through my nostrils, I whipped my head to face my mother.
She is still looking to where dad disappeared with a sad look.

I tugged on her dress calling her. "Mom."
"Yes, dear?,". She looked down at me with soft eyes.
"Mikasa." She blinked at me before releasing what I want.
"You want to see her?." I nodded my head.

Her eyes turned again to the same direction father went off.
"You can, but remember what your dad just said. Do not get in trouble." She warned, without looking at me.
"I will." I began running before stopping and turning to wave a goodbye which she returned.

MEANWHILE......

Eren and Armin were walking toward y/n's house. Eren was walking faster than Armin as he was following behind him, trying to catch up with his exciting friend.

"Eren!, hold on." called out Armin. "Walk faster Armin!. You are too slow!." Eren turned his head to his blond friend. His excited emerald orbs met with Armin's blue ones.

After a long effort, Armin stopped in his tracks, putting both his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath. Eren stopped running and walked to his friend angrily.

"Come on Armin!. We need to hurry!." He stopped in front his tired friend clenching his fists.
"Eren!, we do not have to hurry. Don't get too excited." He lifted his head to look at his friend. Who turned around away from him. Armin sighed and straighten his body.

"Eren, I understand you are excited, but don't you think you should not get your hopes up?. I mean Y/N said even her dad and the scout regiment don't know too much about the outside world." He whispered. Afraid someone might hear Eren blabbing about the outside world careless.

"You don't know Armin!. She may have forgotten to tell us something!."
"Eren, just calm down and stop shouting. No need to make a sense"

Eren wasn't happy at all but he closed his mouth and the scowl doesn't leave his face as he turned it away from Armin.
