True wanted to play around with Abel for as long as she could.
She had no intention of ever letting him really have her to himself. She just wanted to play with his head and then be done with him.
Like a toddler who holds a toy for a few seconds and then throws it away when they've grown bored with it.
It was wrong to manipulate people's feelings, she knew this, but she couldn't help herself. It was like she was addicted to breaking hearts.
True was dancing with Cyrus in their section and she let her grind on her lap, but she wasn't really into it. Her mind was somewhere completely different.
Cyrus turned around.
"True? What's wrong baby?"
She leaned back and laid her head down on the couch cushion.
"Are you alright?"
"Why don't you go get me a martini?" True said.
"Can you talk to me True? I just wanna know what-"
"Stop it Cyrus. Go get me a drink."
True didn't always want to talk. In fact she hated doing so.
Cyrus sat up.
"Why don't you get it yourself?" Cyrus sat.
True didn't feel like arguing with her.
"I don't have time for you right now."
Cyrus, still sitting on True's lap, looked down at her.
"What in the hell is wrong with you? You always do this!"
"Keep it down." True said holding her head.
Cyrus made True look back up at her and True responded as if she were going to hit her.
"Don't fucking do that." True snatched away from her and pushed her on the couch.
"You know what you're absolutely crazy True!"
"You say that all the time." True said blandly. "I told you to get me something to drink, if you didn't want to you could've just said so, instead of throwing a fit."
"You throw a fit about everything." True said angrily.
True held her head and shut her eyes. She really didn't want to argue with her.
She was trying to relax, because she'd grown suddenly irritable. Her head was aching and she didn't get the drink she'd been asking for.
"True why are you doing this right now? Seriously what the fuck?"
"I'm not arguing with you, okay? Ugh, I need a drink. Tookie pour me up three shots of something. Something strong please."
