Stevie's POV"We fucking did it! Haha!" I watched Marcus and Toby open up the bootles that Tony and the rest of the traitors had left over.
It was one of the usual nights for us.
Partying, but this time, it was for a reason.
Tony and them other assholes knocked off a few convenient stores in the area so we had enough money to last us for a bit.
Everyone was okay with this. They were relaxed, but not me.
"Baby brother?"
I turned around and saw True coming over to me.
"What's wrong?" She asked me.
"Nothing TC."
She sighed and took a seat.
"Come on and talk to me."
I sighed and shook my head.
"Who the fuck you telling no, Stevie? Close the laptop and talk to me."
I closed my laptop and looked at her.
"What?"
"The fuck is the matter with you?"
"True I just...I know we got our house back and everything, but..."
"But what Stevie?"
"Tony was a fucking traitor and so were Ed and Silas."
"This is true, but what we don't know is what they were up to when they were out here. Like what if they joined up with somebody. I know they got this money from somewhere...there's a lot. And when word hits the street that the family is back together, we're going to be to blame."
She tapped her finger under her chin.
She was thinking.
"You're so smart you know that."
She was trying to change the subject.
"Come on True we need to talk about this."
"No. I don't like you being in shit like this you're too young."
"True, I'm the brains!"
"You and Me both, wiz kid. Look I already thought about this. We'll just handle it when it comes up."
"Yeah."
"Don't worry about it. I got Simon and Duke doing the count of the guns and the ammunition. We strapped. Nobody's fucking with us, baby bro. So don't worry about it."
I smiled at her.
"Alright."
"Mmm hmm, I wanna read that paper when you're done with it."
