Abel's POV
"So this is the place?" True whispered in my ear.
"Yeah this is it."
We were in front of The Hollywood palace, one of the most exclusive clubs in LA.
"Well...it sure does look like a palace, huh?"
"Yeah. I know. You ready?"
"Yeah let's go."
I got out of the car first and True followed behind me.
We walked up the steps and went upstairs towards the VIP.
When we got up there, Lamar, Hawk and Hyghly were already there.
"What's up with y'all?" I said sitting down.
Hawk stared at True and I looked to see that True was glaring back at him.
"Um...is something wrong?" I laughed nervously.
"Nah..." True said.
"Nope." Hawk said in agreement.
"How are y'all boys doing tonight?" True said.
"Good."
"Everything is cool."
"Fine." Hawk said blandly.
True laughed and shook her head.
"Aye man, is we really gonna go back and forth all night?" She ask him.
Hawk looks at her in annoyance.
"Fuck is you saying?"
"I'm saying that you know, you over there looking extra hard like you got an issue. So fix the issue. What's the problem?" True said calmly.
"My problem is the fact that you're here."
"Why is that?" True said smiling at him.
"Because the first time I met you, you tried to kill me."
"Yep. That's right."
I could tell that, True, continuing to smile was irritating the fuck out of Hawk.
"So I'm not gonna sit here and act like I like you just because you walked up in here with my boy."
"Look...I admit that maybe trying to smash a bottle over your head was a bad idea-"
"Maybe? What kind of shit?!"
True laughed and Hawk got angrier.
"Yo I'm trying to apologize, aight?"
"Aye yo Abe, 'won't you control that little dyke you got sitting over there?"
True's smile vanished and she cocked her head to the side and focused her attention on Hawk.
