My eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the light. I realized that I wasn't in my room. There was only one thing in my mind.
Run
I looked around the room frantically, spotting a window. Scrambling over to the window, opening it. Thank god it was unlocked.
I got confused. This house wasn't in a normal neighborhood. It was deep in the woods.
My head snapped at the door, which was rattling like someone is trying to open it.
I quickly climbed over the window, seeing that I am only in the second floor.
"ARDEN!" A voice was heard, making me lose balance. I let out a shriek as I fall off the window.
I landed with a thud.
"What is wrong with you?! Stay there." He said poking his head out, and disappearing back into the room.
I took this chance to run.

I stopped running when I felt like it was safe. – who am I kidding?! Safe? In the middle of the woods?!
The was trees surrounding me, I put my hand on the tree, leaning for support.
"Found you," he whispered. I could see the smirk on his voice.
I yelped, freezing in spot.
"It's a really bad choice for you to run. Now, either you come with me this instant peacefully, or you come with me the hard way?" He says holding my wrist.
I struggled against him, trying to pry my wrists off of his grip.
"Hard way it is," he sighed, holding my wrist in one hand, and throwing me over his shoulder.
"HEY! Stop!" I shout, hitting his back which seems like he's not fazed at all. "LET GO OF ME!"
"Arden, stop." He said in a stern voice.
I kept hitting him, and kicking. He held my legs in place, and the house came to sight.
"NO! Stop it!" I cried.
Once we were in the house, he dropped me on the couch. I winced as I landed on my arm. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks as I hold my arm in my hand.
"You okay?" He asks.
Seriously?!
"Arden. Did you hurt your arm?" He asks, I nodded.
"Let me see," he said calmly trying to get my arm. I shook my head causing him to sigh.
"Arden. Give me your arm," he says.
"No, it hurts." I cried onto the couch.
"Is it broken?" He questioned worriedly.
"I don't know," I mumbled against the couch, making it sound like I'm mumbling.
"Come'er," He said. I obeyed, wanting the pain to go away.
He looked at it, seeing that it had turned swollen and bruised.
"Alright. Stay here," he says standing up, "I mean it."
I just nodded, sniffing.
