It is Friday. I hate school days. But it's school, I don't hate school, but I don't love it either. I just don't like the days.

As I walked in the cafeteria, since it was already half day, I spotted Loren. Loren, my bestest friend in the whole wide world, is there.

"Hi, Arden!" She waves at me, I waved back.

I walked towards her and our group of friends.

"So, what are we going to do tonight?" Jake asked.

"I honestly don't know. It seems like we've done everything," River said.

"True," Loren agreed.

We were all thinking on what we should do, when an idea popped up in my head.

"What if we go up to those woods?" I suggested.

"You know it's dangerous up there!" Loren gasps.

"There is no way we're letting you go there either. There is no way I'm letting you go there! Cuz I hell am sure not going." Jake declined.

"Oh, c'mon! That's basically the only thing left to do in our bucket list!" I whined.

"No, there's still skinny dipping-"

"For lord's shake! We're not skinny dipping!" River shouts, getting a few attention from other students.

"I'm agreeing to him Lor," Loren pouted at my response.

"Ar, I'm telling you. It's a bad idea!" Loren shrieked, trying to pull me away from the fence that I'm about to jump.

"Oh, come on! Those things are just myths. Are you guys seriously going to believe it?" I say

"Arden, please. Let's just do something else! Like - go travel - or something that doesn't involve jumping over the fence!" River bribed.

"Please!" Jake cried saying something for the first time.

I thought about it, "Fine," I let go of the fence, that I didn't know I had a grip on.

We walked back to the neighborhood, River and Jake stayed for dinner at my house, while Loren went home.

I thought I heard leaves being crushed. Like being stepped on. I looked back, seeing nothing. Shrugging it off and skipping after my friends.
