Bella lifted the phone. "Hello?" Ember said.
"Hey, Em. It's Bella. But you know that, caller ID and all." Bella began awkwardly.
"Bella! Hey! Sorry, some lazy fatso wouldn't pick up the phone, so he sent his seven months pregnant wife to get the phone." Ember quipped.
"Hey!" Nicholas yelled. "I go to the gym everyday!"
"You're eating a box of donuts." Ember stated.
"Well I.... Whatever." Nicholas pouted.
"He's like thirty now. I'm sorry for your child. She's gonna have a hard life." Bella laughed.
"They are going to grow up to be a not grown up kid. Especially if they're always with their father." Ember sounding like she was smirking.
"Oh come on. You won't tell me the gender?" Bella complained.
"No. Because I don't even know. We decided on a mystery baby." Ember admonished.
"If you say so. Anyway, can Mia, Charlie, Wendy and I sleep at your place this week?" Bella fidgeted with the phone cord.
"Of course, you're always welcome." That why Bella love Ember, she didn't ask questions, she just went with it. "Hey, Nick! The munchkins are sleeping over!"
"Do I have a say?" Nicholas yelled back.
"No!" Ember responded. "Anyway, while I got you on the line, I was wondering if you wanted to be Aster or Sage's godmother?" Ember sounded nervous.
"Really?!? Me? Of course, cousin." Bella squealed.
"Yes! So do you want me to pick you up on Monday, Cousin?" Ember joked.
"Of course, Cousin." Bella smiled.
"All right, see you then." Ember hung up.

"Are you sure your mom is going to be ok with this?" Bella asked, staring up at the huge house.
"Yeah, she practically thinks your her kids." Summer shrugged, all the fear from this morning gone.
"True." Bella shift Wendy to her other hip.
Charlie and Sunny were talking animatedly as they opened the door.
"Honey?" Summer's mom, Kate, yelled from somewhere in the eaves.
"Yeah, Mom, Bella, Charlie, Mia and Wendy are spending the night. This is not debatable." Summer threw her backpack on the couch.
"This is wonderful!" Kate ran down the stairs and gave Summer and Sunny a kiss on the forehead. "You can meet James!"
"Great." Summer rolled her eyes and flopped on the chair.
"He's in the kitchen, did you have breakfast?" Kate bounced with energy. "James? Come out please!"
"What Kat-" James froze. "You said you had two kids, this is..." James did a quick headcount. "Five!"
"Actually," Charlie piped. "Mia's at soccer practice."
"How do you even have all these kids? You said you'd been divorced for, what five years? That kid," he pointed at Wendy. "Looks like it's a baby."
"What?" Bella wrinkled her nose. "First, she's two years old, and two, whose kids do you think we are?"
"Kate's." James sounded like it was obvious.
