"ELLA!" Bella yelled in shock.
"What? And what are you guys talking about?" Ella's hair was messed up, and her eyes were bright, far from her usual neat and tidy appearance.
Summer and Bella share looks. "Nothing." They chimed in sync.
"Really? Well, I don't believe you but okay." Ella huffed angrily and stalked off.
"Why's Ella so moody?" Summer wondered.
"I don't know, but if we go talk to her, what are we supposed to say? I'm no good at talking to people about emotions." Bella squirmed.
It wasn't as though she didn't love Ella like a long lost sister, but maybe they were too close. Ella's mom was Bella's mom's best friend, they were even named to parallel each other. Bella and Ella, practically inseparable. And then Summer walked in. Now it was Bella and Ella and Summer, which was more complicated. Ella and her had been forced to be friends, circumstances made them chose between best friends and worst enemies. They chose best friends. Yet, Summer had really chosen to be Bella's friend, that was...different, somehow.
Bella sighed. "Come on. Let's go."
Summer began to walk in the direction Ella was going when the bell rang.
"Oh, god. Bye!" Summer ran in the opposite direction to first period.
Bella cursed under her breath as she ran for the stairs. Please don't trip, please don't trip Bella prayed.
She was answered. Bella made it to first period without hurting herself.

Bella's day went like this.
8:05 try to talk to Ella. Get yelled at by teacher.
9:10 try to figure out and game plan with Summer. No plan, and was yelled at by teacher.
10:05 Wait at Ella's locker forever. Late for class, and is yelled at by teacher.
11:20 Lunch. Awkward silence. Summer yells at Ella. We all get yelled at by lunch moniter.
And so forth. Bella didn't know what Ella was so sensitive about. If we face the brutal truth, Bella should be acting like that. Her mother died, and now it was like she was a mother of three at 14. With no help.
Bella burst through the doors. School was over, and for once, Bella was glad that Ella didn't live near Summer and her.
"I'm freeeeeeee!" Summer sang.
"Where's your dad?" Bella asked. The sweet release of Friday made everyone more impatient.
Summer check her phone and scowled. "He's not coming. His conference started early. Typical." She muttered.
"It's fine, Sum. We'll walk to the diner. I mean, Grace Hollow is a stone's throw across. We only get driven cause we're lazy." Bella nudged Summer with her shoulder.
"True." Summer angrily stuffed her phone in her pocket and began to walk.
"What about the munchkins?" Bella asked.
"Dang it, I forgot about our siblings. How are we gonna pay it all?"
"Don't worry, Tali and Lena are good friends of my cousin. We can eat free." Bella continued walking.
