Chapter #20| Rescued

I drove over the speed limit, Mikey found Fernando's location and I didn't bother waiting for the others. I needed to save him, I needed to tell him how much I love him. "So glad you can't finally join us" someone says. I groaned feeling something hard hit the back of my head, I fell to ground blood roll down my neck. I looked up seeing Nathan standing before, the f*cker messed with the wrong guy.

"Sin leader of Death Viper MC, most feared in the whole Brisbane" he says

"It's over Nathan" says Abele as he ran into the warehouse along with the others. Guns pointed at Nathan, the bastard just chuckled.

"Kill me if you must, I already lost everything" Nathan said

"Give me Fernando" I growled. Nathan laughed and pointed ahead, I looked up seeing that same small figure in the distance. Nathan raised his hands in the air as Luca kicked him to the ground. I no longer care about the f*cker I needed to see Fernando. The closer I walked to more I see the figure, my body froze seeing Fernando bloodied from head to toe. I roared in anger seeing lash marks all around his pregnant stomach. He's barely moving, I quickly ran towards him touching his face, I called his name pleading him to open his eyes.

"K-Kitten wake up baby" I pleaded. I quickly untie the rope around his wrists, I quickly catch his body before hitting the ground. I need to take him to the hospital immediately, he's barely breathing.

"Take me to the hospital now!" I yelled carrying Fernando in my arms. The moment the others saw Fernando they couldn't stare at his injured self. Vettorio and Antonio ran towards their car, quickly I sit inside as they speed to the nearest hospital. I thought about getting revenge but calling that f*cker isn't worth it, Fernando's life is more important than seeking revenge. For the first time, I cried, tears roll down my cheek landing on Fernando.

I touched my cheek feeling the tears, my heart pounded feeling myself soon having a panic attack. My kitten laying on my lap looking lifeless, he's still barely breathing, I finally understood why he cried that night. Remembering that day when we both nearly died, it opened his eyes to see that he didn't want to lose me and that he loves me. I feel that fear right now, he doesn't respond and now deep in my mind I think of our unborn daughter hoping she didn't die.

Arriving at the hospital nurses quickly took him in, they all looked shocked looking at his injuries. I wanted to follow them but they wanted me to wait in the waiting room. Hours went by which felt like years and still no news about Fernando. Later the others arrived at the hospital, Matteo told me they took Nathan to the police station. Evidence was given and now he's under arrest and soon going to court.

"Family of Fernando Lopez" said the doctor. I quickly stand as he walked over, he explain Fernando's injuries. Luckily it wasn't serious but the doctor says my daughter is distressed but she calmed down once Fernando is calm, they treated his wounds and he's now sleeping. Giving us permission to see him, I sit by his bed holding his hand.

"I'm so sorry baby, I shouldn't have left you. I am a coward and afraid of love but I'm not running no more, I want us to be together as a family because I love you kitten" I whispered.

Two days later I was finally released, after waking up I couldn't recall what happened that night.
