36 - Canary

Beacon Hills' Streets

The Penguin walks towards his SUV calmly with his guards in the streets that are set on fire. The streets scream for a savior and that's what Scott, Derek, Stiles and me are here for. If Oliver won't be coming back to take this city, then I'm taking this city back for him.

Peter shoots an arrow from the sky at Penguin's car causing it to explode. Penguin turns his head towards me and Scott, and hisses at us.

"Didn't anyone tell you that Halloween was 3 months ago!" Penguin hisses at us as we stand.

"Oswald Cobblepot." I say in a deep voice changer.

"You have failed this city." Scott says the exact words that Oliver would say when he was here.

"Argh!" Oswald grunts angrily. "Can't you see there's a lot more of us then there is of you!" He yells loudly and then a bunch of penguin's with bombs on their back, and a great amount of thugs come out to play.

"Think again fish breath." I hear Catwoman's voice and I look over my shoulder to see her bringing a huge crowd of rioters.

"Kill them! Kill them all!" Penguin yells and all his men/thugs come at us. Penguin then starts running off and a thug comes at me and I kick him in the crotch and swing my baton at his face and he falls. I look over at Scott who is fighting tons of thugs and so is Catwoman.

"I'll get him!" I yell to notify Scott and run off following Penguin into an Alley. I continue following him until he turns into a corner really fast and then he's gone? I look around and see an opened storm drain that heads into the sewers. "Oh god." I say smelling all the nasty exotic things that could be in there.

For Lydia and Kira.

I jump into the sewer and this must be why Scott and Derek couldn't find Peter, Penguin, and my friends; He was hiding with all the other scents.

I land into the clear cold water with my feet in only. I look around to see a clue on where I should turn and then hear the Penguin grunting and puddles being splashed around.

Gotcha

I quickly run chasing after the Penguin and then I turn my GPS on to tell Scott my location for backup and realize, I'm at The Arctic Zoo. I get to the end of the sewers and come out to the zoo that has been abandoned and then I hear the Penguin speaking scared.

"You!" He yells not at me but at something, I see 2 shadows from the outside of the Arctic Zoo.

"Oswald, you have failed this city." I hear a voice changer but it's not Scott's. I see a man in a green hood and then I see Penguins from behind. The penguins then deploy their rockets off their back and shoot at the Arctic Zoo.

I hear someone falling into a window and hear Windows being broken. I quickly get up and see Oliver standing in his arrow costume. He looks at me and raises an eyebrow. I quickly walk towards him and stand next to him.

"I'll explain later." I tell him and he nods. "My friends are all down there." I speak to him as we stare at the inside of the Zoo to see glowing blue water.

Oliver grabs an arrow with a string and shoots down at the floor. He uses his bow as a zipper to the line and then looks at me. "Hold on." He says grabbing my hips and pulling me in close to him. I wrap my arms around his shoulders to get a grip and he zips down.

We roll onto the ice floor and Oliver stands tall and I get up also with my baton on my hand. "Penguin!" Arrow yells loudly and I hear him run after Penguin. I look over at Lydia and Kira who are caged and all skinny and dirty.

I run towards them and realize that they're locked. I can't open it with my baton, it's too hard. I realize if I scream at a certain frequency the lock would break.

"Close you ears." I warn Lydia and Kira in my voice changer and they step back and cover their ears. I make a small canary cry and the lock breaks and falls to the floor. I open the cage door and grab Lydia's and Kira's hand taking them out.

I turn around and sense a presence and see the owner of Shrek swinging his fist at my face and I fall to the ground hard. "Hey!" Kira yells and tries to attack but he throws her to the wall and Lydia stands back.

I hear a whip in the background and look up to see Catwoman.

"Leave the bird alone." She hisses and then Shrek turns around. He raises an eyebrow at her and I get back up slowly. Catwoman and Shrek fight and then a bunch of thugs come out into the floor.

"Run!" I yell at Lydia and Kira and they both get up and run. I fight down all the thugs and then when I finish, Catwoman takes out Shrek with her whip and he falls to the ground.

"I'll find Penguin." She says and I nod. She runs to where Arrow and Penguin were last seen which was deep down in the Arctic zoo.

Suddenly I hear a gun shot and then something pierces through my stomach. I scream in agony and pain and the canary cry let's out. I scream at a very high frequency causing maybe the whole world to hear me scream. I stop screaming and then fall to the floor and then i breathe hard.

No one is near me and I'm bleeding so much that I could loose all my blood and die. I apply pressure on my wound and groan crying, breathing hard.

Who knew this would hurt so much!

I continue groaning and see that I'm loosing so much blood. If I scream loud enough with my Canary Cry I could alert someone, someone to help me. Suddenly when I'm about to scream I hear something heavy drop down near me.

A human body, it comes close to me and I feel it's hands touch me. It moves my head and it looks right at me. I raise my hand to touch his face with my bleeding hands.

"Peter." I gasp and he looks at me saddened by me dying. I drop my hand slowly to the floor as I'm blacking out. He shakes his head scared and angry.

"Don't die on me!" He yells getting his hands putting pressure on my wound. I groan in pain knowing that this doesn't hurt anymore. I look at Peter's arms who are showing black veins and this means he's helping take the pain away. "C'mon." He says and I'm not healing and I grab his hand and his veins stop turning black.

"It's fine." I tell him in tears knowing I'm going to die and see Sara.

"No! I'm not letting you die!" He says and the stories Scott has told me, Peter has never cared for anyone. I start to see the darkness come in and I stop starring at Peter breathing slower, slower, slower... Slower ........ Slower.

Peter's voice becomes faded and I can't hear him properly. "Peter, I can't hear." I whisper and he shakes his head. Tears start to stream my face and I shake my head. "You need to tell Scott," I say and my voice cracks and chokes in the tears. "I-I love him." I stutter breathing slower and speak slower as I slur my words.

The darkness comes in and then surrounds all my eyes and I can't see. My breathing stops once it gets too slow and then I see Sara standing over me wearing all black.

"You're going to be okay." Sara says with a small smile on her face brushing my hair. "I'm here."
