16 - Sarah Lance

I walk into the hideout to see Oliver sparring with Scott. Drake in the other hand is watching the match and I see him bored. At this moment I'm mad at Oliver who didn't bring me to the mission last night to stop the penguin when he saw him. I could've caught him and do my thing to make the ugly bird squirm.

I walk to one of the computers dropping my leather jacket on a computer chair and see Drake walking towards me. "You alright?" Drake asks me concerned about my well-being.

"Yeah, I just need to talk with Oliver." I say and he raises an eyebrow.

"That can't be good." I say and Oliver sees me and smiles at me. I don't smile back and then Scott punches him in the face and then kicks him in the stomach and Oliver falls.

"I won!" Scott says having his hands up showing off. I hear clapping from Drake's hands as he stands there being supportive yet bored.

"Congrats." He says and Scott rolls his eyes. Olive gets off the floor and walks towards me sweaty and shirtless like Scott is.

"You okay?" Oliver asks me and I raise an eyebrow.

"Why didn't you tell me you were after the penguin last night again?" I say crossing my arms.

"Oh-oh." Drake says in his husky voice.

"Cause you need to spend time with your family Sarah." Oliver says trying to persuade me.

"Then tell me why the penguin isn't captured yet?"

"Look, you and Drake need some time together! You're not here to be behind the mask all the time Sarah! You're here because your family loves you."

"I'm here because you need my help capturing the ugly bird." I say and I know what else he did last night. "And not flirt with girls dressed in slutty cat suits."

"Wait what?" Drake says confused. "There's a girl in a cat suit around town now?"

"Yes!" Me and Oliver yell at Drake at the same time. "And for your information, I wasn't flirting I was trying to catch her also!" Oliver says in a very angry voice. He points at me and I get angrier. "I did my best to catch the penguin also!"

"Yeah by what? Talking to him!" I say knowing that I saw everything he was doing last night.

"Get out of here now." He tells me and then I hear a notification go off on the computer.

"How about you don't, Penguin was just spotted at the governor's tree lighting right now that's taking place in 20 minutes." Drake says reading the computer.

"Suit up everyone." Oliver says getting off of me and I look over at Drake who is awkwardly here. I get dressed in my costume and so does Scott by putting on a skie mask of his.

"What am i doing?" Drake asks while I put my blonde wig on.

"Go home." Oliver says and I shake my head.

"Stay here and tell me if anything new happens for the Penguin got it?" I command Drake and he nods. He sits on the computer desk and starts typing. I never knew he was a hacker also? What did I miss while I was gone?

The team walks out the hideout in our costumes and Drake stays behind.

"I don't see the penguin." I say into my radio between Drake and me only as I squat down on a fire escape over looking the governor. Something is missing although. Where is the princess (governor's wife) at? I heard she was the one turning the lights on for the tree so she has to be here, unless. "Birdie check all street cameras behind the stage, something isn't right." I command him and I hear typing.
