Chapter 4

Perrie's POV...

He was in full on rage. I've never seen a person this mad before.

"Since we didn't have a choice to do this shit, there are going to be some rules. We will only talk when out in public on one of our 'dates'. You are not to get in my way of anything, and i mean ANYTHING. Okay?" I nodded quickly. "Good." And with that, he walked away.

I slowly slid down the wall i was leaning against till my butt hit the ground. I put my head in my hands and sat there for a little till i heard the door open again.

"Perrie?" I looked up to see Simon.

"What?" I asked quietly.

"Where's Zayn?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Well help me find him. When you guys are done today, you're going to take a walk around town." He said. I nodded and got up off the dirty floor.

I followed Simon through the long corridor, turning corners and having small talk with each other. He was very intimidating but i still held up the topics.

When we found Zayn, he was outside smoking a cigarette. Nasty.

"Zayn." Simon spoke

"What"

"When we're done today, you two will be taking a walk. Walk her home or something. Hold hands and stuff." Simon ordered.

Zayn huffed "Fine"

Simon turned to me "Perrie, you are free to go" i thanked him and left.

When i walked back in the building, i immediately went to where i left the girls. I pulled out my phone to see a couple of missed calls and texts.

When i got there, they all got up and rushed over to hug me.

"Where were you?" Jade asked urgently

"With Zayn, Simon, and Tulisa"

"Oooh did you guys get in trouble" Leigh-Anne winked

"No but it feels like i will be"

"What do you mean?" Jesy asked

"Tulisa and Simon are making me and Zayn date for the publicity."

"Thats good! You guys will be able to spend time together" Leigh said

"No. That's not good." I said.

"Why not?" Jesy asked

"Because he hates me. Like really really hates me" I said. I would've showed them what he did to my arm but i didn't want to cause anything. It was still in a lot of pain but not as much as it was before.

"Oh bullshit." Jesy said

"No, Jes. I'm dead serious. He already told me"

"Oh he's just hiding his love for you" Leigh said.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. I won't be going home with you guys tonight. Simon already arranged for him to walk me"

I got nods from the girls and we continued chatting till the end of the day. We didn't work on anything because we already got the song and all down.

By the end of the day, I was waiting for Zayn to come get me. He came down with his friends and gave me a look of disgust. "Come on" He said

I looked at the girls. "Bye" They all said cheerfully as if i will be totally fine. I got up and made my way towards Zayn.

"Hey Pez" Niall said

"Hi" I said back. He smiled warmly at me.

"Well lets go" Zayn ordered. He said by to his friends and then we walked off.

When we walked outside, there were some paps. Zayn grabbed my hand and led me through them. The paps kept asking if we were dating but we didn't answer them. I had to admit, it felt good when his fingers were intertwined with mine but i had to push all those feelings aside.

We walked silently through town and you could sense the awkwardness. I didn't have to tell him where i lived because all the xfactor contestants lived in the same neighborhood, unless you got eliminated.

We were a few blocks away when i decided to speak up "So how is xfactor going for you guys?" I asked politely

"Why?"

"I wanted to know. Plus i didn't like the silence so i wanted to talk" I defended myself

"It's fine" he said sharply

"Okay"

We walked for a little bit more till we arrived at the door to my flat.

"Well, bye" I said awkwardly. He gave me a half smile and left.

I opened the door and plopped on the couch. "How was it?" Jade asked

"Better than i expected"

"What happened?"

"Nothing. We just walked." I said.

"No talking?"

"Not really"

"Oh"

I nodded "Im taking a shower and going to bed."

"Goodnight" She said

"Night"

Oh my gosh! I saw Ellie Goulding and Bruno Mars live the other night! It was so cool!
