So I decided to talk to Jasmine. She would know what to do.. I text her on my way to my next class.

[SuperFly_ShyGirl: Hey Jazzie!! I need some help.... Jacob asked me to go out with him while singing a song!! Weird I know! So I don't know what to say to him. Should I say yes or say no to him??]

[Skit_Jazzle: oh wow.... I missed all of this? Dang it!!! I knew I shouldn't have skipped that class today! Darn!! Anywho..... I say don't go with him... U probably thought that I was gonna say go with him but u only have known him for like a week.. He needs to slow things down..... Sorry to him though..]

Im gonna take jazzy' s advice. She is right. Jacob needs to slow his roll. We only have known each other for a week. He is rushing things.. I decide to talk to him during next class. I take my seat and wait for Jacob to come in. He comes and I decide to tell him.

"Hey Jacob... Um about that question I just wanted to tell u that-gco-"

The teacher walks in and starts class. I have to tell Jacob though! Aha! I'll text him. Hopefully his phone is on..

(Text Convo)

[SuperFly_ShyGirl: Hey Jacob I wanted to tell u something. It's about the whole girlfriend thing. I don't want to be your girlfriend. I'm sorry! I just met you and it seems like we r rushing into things. I hope u understand.... But we can still be friends!! Plus you kinda owe me a trip to Starbucks for walking with u to school today. Even though we didn't haw a deal. I just really want some Starbucks! What do ya say? ]

[RockerAfroKid: um yeah sure. lets just be friends. and ok! I'll take u to Starbucks but u have to pay.]

[SuperFly_ShyGirl: who said I was paying? U r paying. I don't have any money anyway.. PLEASE?!?!?! 😕]

[RockerAfroKid: Hugh... Fine Auburn. I'll pay..... ]

[SuperFly_ShyGirl: thanks Jacob!!!! Meet u at lunch. Bye!!! ]

Well that went pretty well. It didn't seem like he really was upset.

Jacob P.O.V.

I'm so upset. I thought she would say yes to me...... I really thought she would say yes. Uhhh.... This sucks. And all she wants to do is be friends with me. That's ok though. She will be mine one day..... And maybe she was right. Maybe I am rushing into things... Who knows? This always happens when I like a girl. I meet them and then want them to date me. I need to stop this..... At least Auburn and I are going to Starbucks cause I want some food!!!

(Skipping to Lunch Time!!)

I walk outside and tell Auburn to meet

me outside so we could walk to Starbucks. It's only around the corner as Auburn says. But I don't know if I could trust her with this situation. Hmmmmmm..... She walks outside with her backpack ready to go. Why does she have her backpack? I ask her.

"Auburn? Why do u have your backpack with you?" I say to Auburn.

"Oh this? Oh yeah!! I'll tell u later when we get there." She says to me.

I stare at her crazily. We start walking. I decide to start up a convo.

" so auburn...... How is life? U have any siblings?"

"Um yeah. My older brother Aaron. He's like a grade older than us. He is second after Jazzy for being there for me."

"What about your mom and dad? They care."

" um yeah sure. They care. It's just I don't express my feelings around them as much."

" why not? You should! You really should!!! Why haven't you??"

"Is this 20 questions or something? I don't feel like talking about this right now. Maybe another time ok?"

"Yeah sure..... Another time....."

I stare at her as she shyly looks down at the ground. I wonder why she is acting like this. Who knows?! Cause I surely don't. We finally get to Starbucks and gets in line. She orders a mocha frappachino and I order the same except i get mine caramel flavor. We sit down and start to drink our drinks. I decided to ask her why she has the backpack with her.

" what's with the backpack again Auburn?"

"Oh yeah!! This thing?! I just like carrying it around for fun!!"

I look at her like she some kinda freak. She's crazy. I finish our drinks and head out to McDonald's to get some chicken salads. On the way there, we pass a homeless person sitting on the street. I start to give them my money but Auburn stops me.

"I got this Jacob..."

She hands the person $50 and gives them the rest of her Frappe. I can believe she lied about having money. I could have saved my money!!!

"Hey Auburn!!! Why did u say u had no money left? When u had fifty bucks with you. I'll get u back for this Auburn. I'll get u back! Plus I was saving that money to buy something." I say to her.

"Number one is that I didn't feel like spending my money on food and drinks. Plus i have it to a homeless person who needed that more than me.Number two is that u can try but you won't get me back. Number three is that what were u saving ur money for? A video game? A box of tissues? Who knows!!!! "

I look shyly at the ground. I was going to get A video game but a video game that Auburn and I could play together.

"Haha!! I knew it!!! U were going to buy a video game!! I know that kind of face from anywhere. My brother does that too.... That's so crazy!!" Auburn says while giggling.

I start to laugh with her. Out of nowhere, Auburn and I start to crack up. She falls to the ground and I start walking around crouching and laughing! Everyone was looking at us but we didn't care. We finally stopped laughing and I helped Auburn off the ground. We wipe our tears away from laughing and start walking to McDonalds. We finally get there. I order us chicken salads and blueberry pomegranate smoothies while Auburn finds us some seats. We eat and drink our food and start walking back to school. We get back to school and we go to our next class. After school I catch up with Auburn.

"Hey Auburn, I say to her, Wanna come to my house for dinner tonight?"

"Ummmmm........... Sure." She says to me.
