Jacob's P.O.V
As I start to walk back to the kitchen, I think about Auburn. OH, Auburn.... She is so.. wow! I don't even know how to describe her. I pick up the food and start to walk back to their table. I really wanted to get to know Auburn better. I start to daydream until I ran into somebody. Food splatters all over them. I apologize to the person I ran into. I look up and see Auburn covered in buffalo wing sauce. Oh brother. How am I supposed to talk to her now......
Auburn's P.O.V
I decided to use the bathroom to avoid the rest of Jasmine's imagination. She thinks I like Jacob. Do I? He is cute and seems really nice. I don't know... Why do boys have to be so complicated?? ANYWHO, I was walking to the bathroom and ran into somebody. I look down at my shirt to see buffalo sauce on me. I look a mess. The waiter apologizes to me. He looks up and I see it is Jacob... His eyes were sparkling. Literally sparkling.... WOW!!
" It's ok Jacob." I say to him.
" Are you sure? I'm so sorry. You look a mess..." He says back to me.
" I'm sure. I'm fine. I'm just going to clean up."
" Do you need any help? "
" No I'm good. But thanks anyway."
I start to walk to the bathroom until I hear him call my name out again. I turn around and start to walk towards him.
"Yes, Jacob?"
" Um.. I just wanted to ask you if maybe one day we could hang out sometime? "
I look at him stunned. Did he really just ask me out? I should say no. I don't want to be hurt again. Wait, what am I saying? It's just us hanging out. Not like we are going on a date or anything. Just going to hang out together, that's all.
" Sure. I would like that." I say to him.
A big smile spreads across his face. He gives me his number and I give him mine. He walks off to get a new plate of buffalo wings while I go freshen myself up... Something crazy just turned into something good....
