Eridan wasn't sure if he should be scared for his life or rethink his existence. "Th3 mighty huntr3ss s33's that th3 fish's tail bl33ding! Ar3 you hurt?! She says in a worri3d voic3." "Yes,noww wwill you please stop narrating your actions?" "Aww okay." They sat in silence for five minutes straight. "Are you going to eat me yet? Or do you like wwatching your meals suffer before you choww dowwn? Sounds pretty sick if you ask me." He was furious by now. The pain of his tail becoming feirce by the minute. "Come on this thing is killing me! Just do it already!" She was quite confused at this,none of her recent prey had begged for death. 'H3 sur3 is crazy.' She thought watching him pout. "I'm not going to 3at you." "Wwhy not?!" "I'm not hungry and w3ll......." "Wwell wwhat?!" He looked so pitiful lying there on the ground,she couldn't eat him when he looked like that. More rustling came from the bush behind her,a tall centuar creature pushed past the branches. "Nepeta,how are you supposed to be my guide if you will not stay in one place." He said in an irritated tone. 'A blue blood obviously,but what's he doing with an olive blood?' Eridan thought to himself as she tackled the blue blood to the ground. "3quius!" "Nepeta,I demand that you cease this f001ishness and release me." (I'm sorry I'm not very good at his quirk.) She giggled childishly and began to purr. "Wwhat the hell?" Eridan's voice caught the attention of the other highblood. "Ng! Highbl00d! You are injured!" The girl now known as Nepeta let go of him allowing him to rush to the Seadwellers aid. He reached out only to back away remembering his strength. "Nepeta,I need you to assist me and if you could lay him across my back,we will seek out Maryam." She saluted and went to grab Eridan. "Wwait-! No!" He pushed her away defiantly squirming to escape. "Stop moving grrrr!" She wrapped her arms around his waist trying to hoist him up. "No! I didn't ask for this!" He clawed at her arms trying to pry them from his midsection. "Let me go! Noww I demand you let go!" He thrashed his tail twisting it around in pain as a single crack echoed throughout the trees. "Gah!" His eyes fell heavy and he felt no reason to move as the world faded around him. "Um,3quius?" "It seems he has injured himself further,he passed out from the pain." "W3ll it'll b3 3asi3r to g3t him to Kanaya now." She said optimistically.

Sollux slithered off unaware of his injured flush crush. He muttered angrily as he pushed past all sorts of plants on the jungle floor,his tail thrashing around hitting everything in its path. "Ssssssssssstupiid ssssstuck up royal paiin iin my asssssssss!" He screeched unable to hold back his rage. "II ssssssssave hiissssss liife and then he hassssssss the gal to f*ckiing do that to me when he knowssssss! Oh he knowssssss!" "0h,hell0 S0llu-00f!" Without even thinking his tail made contact with Aradia's cheek sending her flying to the jungle floor. "Oh my god are you okay?!" He grabbed her face looking at the wound. "S0wux,I'm fwine." She said as he squished her cheeks examining the clean cut on her face. "O-Oh! Riight!" He let go allowing her to cover the wound with her hand. "S0 h0w are y0u and Eridan d0ing?" Sollux snarled at the mention of the pompous seadweller. "Hmph,II could honesssstly care lesssss about hiim riight now!" Aradia flinched hearing the anger in his voice. "Well......where is he?" Sol's eyes snapped open. "Uhhhhhh....." "S0llux y0u didn't leave him al0ne,did y0u?!" Panic filled her voice as she called frantically for him. "0h n0..." Sollux traveled down the destroyed path from his previous temper tantrum. "Eriidan?! ED?!" A cool liquid touching his tail sent shivers down his spine,lifting up the appendage he discovered a clear puddle of rich purple staining his scales. His blood ran cold. Every hair on his body stood up. Tears slowly making their way to his eyes.

Aradia placed a hand on his shoulder trying to comfort him. "S0llux,wait. It's a small puddle,maybe he's still alive!" He slapped her hand away. "How do you know?! *sob* H-He'sss dead and iitssss all my fault!" He broke down in a heap of tears,the poor inconsolable creature clutched his arms tightly enough to draw blood with his claws. "S0llux,I pr0mise we'll find him!" "Sssstop! No! You can't promiisssse anythiing!" "S0llux listen t0 me!" She couldn't hold back anymore and her hand slipped landing a mustard yellow handprint on his cheek. His sobbing stopped an turned into sniffles as he stared in shock. 'Diid ss she really jussst sssslap me?' She let out an irritated sigh kneeling down next to him. "S0llux I'm s0rry-" "No." She was surprise at how calm he was. "Thank you.....iif you hadn't done that II thiink II would have gone mad." "Hm." She smiled. "C'm0n. Let's g0 find him." He smiled wiping the remaining tear streaks on his face.
