Chapter 11 Privacy

As morning passed soon came the afternoon. The sun slunk behind the trees taking the warmth of the day with it as surroundings took a slight blue hue reflecting from the dimly lit sky as the aurora faded. A cool breeze blew through the air. Eridan sat in the pond truly enjoying the moisturizing feeling of water against his skin. Dunking his head under the effervescence of the water seemed so fascinating, though nothing could beat the view of constellations in the midnight sky. Rising his head above the water, he leaned back supine. The current lulling him to sleep by the very minute as it seemed oblivion close in around him. The ephemeral lights of shooting stars, and phosphenes of fireflies, ethereal lights. A strange petrichor scent lingering. He began to feel a scense of...hiraeth, and yet this sight seemed ineffable. The mellifluous sound of the liquid he lay in reminding him of home itself.

His moment of solitude was rudely interrupted by a certain naga, whom had hooked his arms underneath him and pulled him close. "Gah!-hey!" Sollux only chuckled as he held his precious ocean gem, limerence over coming him. "The watersss kiinda cold, why don't you let me help you warm iit up a biit~? Hmm~?" Sollux pressed his body to Eridan's nuzzling his face into the crook of his neck earning a light and abrupt purring reaction. Sollux gently kissed his gills, his heated breath rendering the mertroll aroused and at a loss for words. Moving his lips towards Eridan's mouth he enclosed them for a much wanted kiss. Entangling their fingers in each other's hair, constantly allowing hands to explore each other. Eridan rubbed his pointed ears and horns rewarded with light moans. Their toungues battled for dominance, saliva mixing as they grind each other's bodies together. Finally, Eridan moaned in victory. Pushing Sollux up against the side of the pond. Biting his neck Sollux yelped half moaned, his tail lightly twitching and thrashing around in the water making all kinds of noises. A mucky yellow mixed with the water. "Hah...II hope you aren't feeliing black for me~" Sollux taunted. "Hmm, no perhaps not~" Eridan replied lapping up the blood that dripped from bite mark. Eridan caressed his yellow scales as his tail coiled around his own. "Hey! Could you guys like-I dunno maybe not fuck each other while I'm trying to sleep?!" Vriska screeched from the treehouse. "God damniit." Sollux cursed under his breath.  "Thank you!" She hollered sarcastically.

Eridan shrugged and kissed Sollux's cheek. "Maybe next time, hon." Sollux's eyes cast downward feeling Eridan sink into his arms. Looking up, thousands of lights littered the sky like scattered moondust. Each a different color like a gleaming gemstone. "Do you miissss the ocean?" Eridan's fins flicked at the almost startling question. "All the time." Sollux nodded laying his head on top of Eridan's. "Sssso you'll leave me ssssomeday?" Eridan chuckled softly. "No one livves forevver Sol, but someday yes, I'll havve to wwhether I'm taken from life itself or I must return to fulfill my duties to help repopulate my blood colour." Sollux subcontiously held on tighter to his ocean treasure. "Sssso your blood colour really iissss liimiited?" Eridan nodded letting out a sigh thinking of the death of so many of his people. "If you wwant though, I could stay."
