"Just imagine the world without movies and T.V. shows. Pretty shitty right?" I said trying not to spill my third beer. Maria laughed at my drunken rant. "Well, Mr.Black, it's getting late and I'm sure your girlfriend is worried sick about you. Lets call it a night shall we? I'll take you home since you're way too drink to drive." She helped me up from my seat.

"Whatever happened to us Maria? I mean, we were so close, then all of a sudden, we were too busy for each other. I know I'm probably way out of line, but this needed to be said. I love you." At that moment, I lunged at her and kiss her. Blame it on the alcohol, am I right? Maria pushed me away and slapped me. "What the hell Jacob? If memory serves me right, yoire spoken for. You had your chance in the past, but you wanted different things, I'm sorry. I think I should just call you a cab." She said.

I was so embarrassed. I'm glad no paparazzi was here to witness this. "I'm sorry Maria, I let my emotions get the best of me. Please, I'll be fine walking home. I'll be back in the morning to grab my car and hopefully this doesn't ruin anything we have." I said.

Maria just shook her head at me. "I'll see you around Jake." She walked out of the bar and I was left alone. I didn't want to go home to be honest. Natasha would just tell at me for leaving and showing up drunk. Well, time to face the music.
