~So this imagine was requested by 1WannaknowmySecret1. It is a super cool and unique request! Thank you for requesting!! So imagine you are a Narnian cat (thus, you can talk...), however, with war going on ( this takes place during the movie Prince Caspian), you are unsure of who to trust, and so you simply don't trust anyone, not even the Kings and Queens of old, King Peter, Queen Susan, King Edmund, and Queen Lucy. You are definitely confused about Prince Caspian, so you decide not to fight at all, staying in your cozy home in the woods, and ignore everything going on around you. Now, this news is quickly spread, and is soon a mighty little mouse hears about it. This angers him deeply, as he believes your reason for this is cowardice, as well as you are natural born enemies, and he disliked your race already. What happens next is quite surprising.~
You loved your cozy home. It was oval in shape, with a warm fireplace, a nice bed with lots of fuzzy and soft blankets to snuggle with, and plentiful food surrounding your house. It was a small cave, the entrance covered with flowering vines. A small creek trickled outside with fresh, sweet spring water. Your days were filled with short, yet sweet naps, a quick walk around to gather wood and food, climbing up trees for exercise, and chasing birds for the fun of it.
Now, you might be wondering... How does a cat gather food and wood? Simple. You often walked upright and had figured out how to use your paws to pick up and carry things.
You use to be a scout for the Narnian army, when you were younger, but gave up those days. Now you were quite the unsocial cat. Your home was hidden for a reason.
When the war started, to free Narnia from the pesky Telmarines, you heard about it from the birds, whom you had grown a love-hate relationship with. You tried to be somewhat friendly in the best way you could at first, but the birds were standoffish and refused to give you any news of the outside world. So, you chased them, and when you caught them, you threatened to eat them, if they did not tell you, thus, forcing them to tell you. (Of course, you would never eat them. You were a vegetarian and the thought alone repulsed you.) After that day, you found that it was fun to chase the birds. The birds, at first, were filled with utmost fear and hated you deeply, seeking ways to chase you out of the woods, but never could. But after awhile, they observed that you ate no meat of any kind, and thus, were friendly all along. They saw that you simply needed to know the news, and yet they had refused to tell you any. Feeling regret for their choices, they felt empathy for you and actually grew some admiration for you. Thus, almost everyday you played this cat-and-mouse game, but rather, cat-and-bird game. They would act scared for their life, you would act intimidating and threatening. Of course, you soon figured out they knew, as well, but what was the harm in it? You actually had some "friends", or the closest thing to them you would ever have, or so you thought.
Each day, after some hours of chasing, you would finally catch a bird, and they would tell you little, insignificant news, if there was any at all, and then you would release the bird, saying "You made the right choice in telling me, but make me chase you again and I'll eat you for sure!". Of course, this would never happen.
One day, you were out gathering berries. You hadn't yet come to the point in the day where you would fetch the news from one of the birds, but suddenly, the entire flock came flying down near you. "Aren't you going to catch us, Y/N?!" The cried. "No! I chase you when it is time, now leave me be, flying rats!" You said with a twinkle in your feline eye. The leader of the flock huffed. "Well, we can't wait. We must tell you! A war has started!" You dropped the bowl of berries you held in your paws. "A war! What war?!" You cried. "A war between the Telmarines and all the animals of Narnia, being led by the Kings and Queens of Old, as well as Prince Caspian!" You hadn't heard much of this Prince Caspian, other than his nanny was once executed a long ways back. Thus, you were shocked to hear he would be leading a force against the Telmarines. "They are asking every single Narnian to participate! Your cousins, the leopards, have all joined in, as well as almost every other creature!" The bird said. "We will be heading out soon. We would be very glad to have you join us in our journey there." He invited.
