I stood in the bathroom doing my best to stop crying.

Asher was wrong; he hadn’t talked to me for more than a minute before he put me down.

Asher was wrong, he was back to torture me some more.

My life was going to become a living hell again, right now it was just hell but with Zander back it was just going to get worse.

I gritted my teeth; I couldn’t believe he was making me cry. No one that tortured me at school ever made me cry I should be stronger than that.

I am stronger than that.

I brushed the stray hairs out of my face and whipped my eyes roughly.

Looking in the mirror, I realized I looked like crap. My eyes were puffy, my hair was frizzy and my nose was red. And there was no way I was going to fix that.

I couldn’t go back to class looking like this.

I turned the sink on and splashed some of the water in my face.

“That’s not going to help.” I jerked back and squeaked. There was a guy standing behind me.

In the girl’s room! A guy!

I whipped around and squeaked again. “What are you doing in here?”

“You’re high pitched,” He said instead of answering. “Is that because you were crying?” I glared at him and didn’t answer. He blinked his turquoise eyes at me and I realized something.

He was really beautiful. His face was full of soft angles and tan skin. He was awfully tall and skinny.

“Why are you in here?” I hissed again.

“Ohh, I’m new.” He thought that was an explanation? I raised an eyebrow.

“And that explains why you can’t read the sign on the door?” He laughed.

“Err,” He scratched the back of his neck. “Well I saw this girl.”

“And you stalked her into the bathroom.”

“No I saw her crying and couldn’t stand to see it.”

“So you stalked her into the bathroom?”

“Isn’t so much stalking.”

“Yes it is.”

“No its not.”

“Yes it is.”

“Okay. Okay,” He put his hands up and I couldn’t help but notice how nibble they were. ”I stalked you into the bathroom because I thought you were hurt.”

“Much better.” I smiled and cocked my head to the side. “So what’s your name?”

“Trey,” He said with a great thump to his chest.

“Amanda.” I put my hand out and he stepped forward to take it.

“You’re quite beautiful Amanda.” And he brought my hand to his mouth and kissed. I tried to yank my hand away but he held on.

“Umm, thanks.” I shifted and tried again to get out of his hand. This was more than uncomfortable, this was kind of creepy.

“Ohh by the way,” He looked into my eyes with his sky blue eyes almost covered by his dirty blonde hair. “I’m gay.”

“Excuse me?” I shook my head. “I don’t think I heard you right.”

“I said I was gay,” He raised an eyebrow. “You aren’t a homophobe are you?”
