The Bad Boy Next Door {A Jungkook Fanfic}

Project Partners

"Okay class, so today we will be assigning partners for are geography project on the US." Our geography teacher spoke.

Yes! I have always wanted to do a project on the USA!

"Okay, partners are... Sunghee and Seolhyun, Hongbin and Rachel, and..." I started to space out as I waited for him to announce my partner.

I can't wait to see who's my partner!

"... Jaemun and Jungkook..." He stated. My mouth dropped. All the girls looked at me angrily. I sighed and rested my hand over my eyes. That dumby is seriously my partner?!?!?!?

Once our teacher told us to start working, I huffed in annoyance.

"Hello, partner." He smirked as he sat down next to me. I eyed him up and down, "Where is your uniform?" I asked. "Oh, I didn't want to wear it today." He answered and rested an arm on my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes and pushed his arm off my shoulder.

I looked up to see that the teacher had left the room. I sighed annoyingly and picked up my pencil.

"I'm tired!" Jungkook whined and rested his head on my lap, "What the crap?! Get up!" I yelled through gritted teeth.

"Nope, you smell good." He argued, "You jerk, STOP IT!" I pushed him up.

"That was a compliment you idiot... Be grateful." He scoffed. I fought back the urge to slap him and got back to picking a state.

"Hey, help me!" I whacked Jungkook in the arm, "That hurt!" He replied.

"Help... Now." I said while pointing to our paper, "Let's choose, New York." He suggested.

"Okay, thank you." I gave a frustrated huff.

"Okay, let's get started on our project tonight. My house, or yours?" I asked, "Your house." He replied.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him but then shook the weird feeling off.

It was now 3:15 and me and Jungkook were on our way to my house. Jungkook walked next to me while listening to music through his phone.

I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I accidentally fell onto the road.

I held my nose in pain as I continued to try and get up.

As soon as I looked to my left, I saw a car speeding towards me. My eyes widened and my body froze. I stared at the car in fear as my bones began to lock up even more.

Right when the car was a few feet away, I felt my jacket be tugged and I found myself in someones arms. I looked up to see Jungkook holding me tight to him.

"What the heck were you thinking?! You could have gotten killed!" He snapped at me, "S-Sorry." I stuttered, finally bringing myself to look into those beautiful brown eyes. Wait... "BEAUTIFUL"!!!!!

My thoughts were cut off by Jungkook wiping the blood from my nose. I stared at him in awe as he continued to do so. I was confused by his sudden kindness. Either he is bipolar, has multiple personalities, or this is how he usually is.

"I knew it!" He suddenly shouted, which caused me to flinch.

"What?" I asked, "You like me!" He accused me. My eyes widened. Is he being serious right now?!

"H-HUH?!" I yelled, "You kept staring at me!" He replied. I lost all my words and my face grew a deep shade of red.

"It's okay, I always new you liked me." He smirked and continued walking.

"HEY~!" I screamed at him and tried catching up to him.

"Where is everyone?" Jungkook asked as we entered my house, "My mom goes to work while I babysit my baby brother." I informed him as I went to go get Hyun.

I walked into Hyun's room to see him in his crib. I looked at Jungkook to see him in awe. He must like Hyun.

I gave a half smile before turning back to the sleeping child.

I approached Hyun and woke him up, "Hyun... Noona's home." I spoke in a soft voice.

He rubbed his eyes and yawned while turning towards me.

He smiled at me and extended his arms out for me to pick him up, "Are you hungry?" I asked him in a baby voice.

He giggled at my weird voice and I picked up his favorite toy, "Heh, are you?" I bounced him up and down.

Jungkook smiled at both of us which caused me to get curious, "Do you want to hold him?" I asked. He looked at me in shock, "W-WHAT?!? N-No, I just think it's cute." He mumbled.

I eyed him and tsk-ed at him before handing Hyun over to him, "Huh?" He spoke and looked at Hyun.

Jungkook stared at Hyun in amazement. I wonder what's going on inside his head...

*Jungkook's P.O.V*

I stared at Hyun in amazement, he was extremely cute!

almost as cute as Jaemun... Wait, WHAT!!!

No,no,no,no,no! I can't possibly like her!

...Can I...?

*Jaemun's P.O.V*

I waved my hand in front of Jungkook's face, "Hello... Earth to Jungkook?" I said confusedly.

He blinked a few times before looking at me.

He bit his lip and turned around, leaving me alone to ponder in my thoughts.

I walked up to Jungkook, "I need to feed him." I chuckled, "Oh yeah... Can I do it?" He asked softly. My eyes widened in amazement.

"S-Sure!" I stuttered before we both walked into the kitchen. I picked Hyun up and put him in his chair before walking over to the pantry.

Jungkook sat down at the table and waited for me to retrieve the baby food.

"Here you go." I pursed my lips and handed him the tiny bowl with chopsticks. Jungkook bowed his head in response before feeding Hyun. (Not actual chopsticks. At this age they may start to use tiny ones with a metal grip around them so that they can get used to them at a young age.)

I leaned up against the counter and watched the two with a smile plastered to my face.

Jungkook and Hyun must have created a special connection. Jungkook is enjoying his time with Hyun, which is surprising.

I looked at Jungkook and smiled lightly before snapping back to reality. Wait..

No, ew! I can't possibly like him, I just think his actions towards Hyun are cute, that's all...

"Anyway... We have to get working on our project." I spoke and picked up Hyun.

Jungkook looked up at me before clearing his throat and looking away again.

"Yeah, let's start." He replied.
