Chapter thirty seven

As Caleb walked over I got a little nervous. "Watch it" he said pointing to him. I got right up and put my hand to Calebs chest. "Relax Caleb he just was trying to comfort me" I said and I immediately felt Caleb relax. "Sorry man didn't mean to startle you" Daniel said Caleb shrugged and nodded then they did the bro handshake and went off sperate ways but Daniel stayed with me.

"Hey Daniel? Ashlyn?" Cameron said we both looked up. "Want to play football?" He asked Daniel and I looked at each other and shook our heads no. "No were okay" I said Cameron shrugged and continued playing.

Daniel and I talked for about an hour then the food was ready. We all sat in random places. Surprisingly Daniel sat next to me and Cameron. Caleb was on the other side of the table sitting in between Joe and Clara. The table with teens felt so awkward I just sat there eating then I don't know if Daniel saw me uncomturble but I felt his hand on my thigh and I jumped. Everyone looked at me and I got up finished eating with Paige and then went inside and ran upstairs to my room. "Ashlyn! Ashlyn please open the door" I heard a voice say. "Go away" I said hugging my legs. "It's me Daniel" he said I immediately opened the door.

He stood there rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Hey" he said looking up. "Umm hi" I said opening the door wider "come in" I said and left the door slightly open. He walked in looking around. "Nice room" he said laughing. I felt awkward because my room was full of him and Cameron. He laughed a little. "What's so funny?" I asked "nothing it's just your room it's cute" he said looking down laughing. "Stop laughing!" I said hitting him jokingly. "Okay okay I'm done I swear" he said still chuckling I crossed my arms knowing he isn't. "Okay I'm good" he said "positive?" I asked he nodded and we both sat down on my bed but then Daniel fell and he didn't realize it. "That wasn't funny!" He said but I still kept laughing. "Well you laughed at my posters of you!" I said and we both couldn't stop laughing. I heard the door slightly open and that made me jump. "Cameron you scared me" I said shocked "sorry but everyone is hanging out outside you guys should come out" he said we both nodded and walked back outside.

"Sooo what were you two doing?" Shawn asked Daniel and I both looked at each other and started laughing. "What's so funny?" Caleb asked "that's what I said!" We both said at the same time. "Okay we have to stop doing this" I said as we both sat down. everyone looked at each other and shrugged. "I'm going to go hangout with Brennan" Caleb said getting up Shawn nodded and gave me a glare. "What?!" I asked moving closer to Daniel. "You haven't been really hanging out with him and he feels distant from you" he said "well I see him everyday and I want to hangout with you guys too" I said Shawn rolled his eyes and we continued on.

Everyone came back in my house and we watched a movie. Surprisingly Caleb didn't sit next to me he sat next to Clara I got so jealous...I glared and went into my room closing the door. "Ashlyn" I heard someone knock. "What?" I snapped "open up" the voice said. I opened the door and it was Caleb. "Caleb?" I asked I looked down with a tear falling he picked my chin back up and kissed me. We interlocked hands and went back in the living room to watch the movie.
